    Someone really vouched for this App but I can't say the same. I payed the $50 but every time I try to change the theme the app just closes.

    The Appy Couple App was perfect to use as an RSVP and to explain the details of our weekend long wedding!
  • Terrible customer service

    You can buy this app and use it but if you encounter problems, know that it will not be fixed and customer service is not there to help you but to find excuses to not do anything. I pointed out an issue with the page display being blurry, provided ample evidence, yet customer service is bent on trying to convince me that I’m imagining things. Even when provided with clear screenshots they insist they don’t see what I’m seeing.

    Very sorry you feel that way, we certainly were not trying to make you think you are imagining things! that was not our intention at all! The issue in question was the quality of the image uploaded but sometimes the difference in display can be because of screen resolution, device settings, screen size in question, etc. If you weren't given a satisfactory explanation for the difference in view we apologies.   • Beautiful design, functionally ok

    Overall fairly happy with how this app worked for our wedding. However, I can never look at it again so I can’t really remember to write more about it. I am sympathetic to the trials of COVID 19 to the wedding industry, however I do think they could have tried much harder to let paying customers know about their site getting removed permanently, or at least sent over some screenshots of their site before doing so. I recommend Zola, it’s free, cleaner functionality, and I don’t think they will do this. I had planned to use appycouple for a future event but not after this.

    So sorry you missed our emails about your account expiring but we tried our best to inform each user by sending 3 rounds of emails to each admin on each account and making sure to put an alert on the dashboards. Unfortunately we don't have an option to send screenshots due to the privacy policy. HOWEVER we do have a grace period to retrieve accounts which will allow you to download your data so please do contact our team at support@appycouple.com, they can help you with that.
  • Limiting

    I found working with this app/website very limiting. You can only select from their rather busy designs. The cover page displays our images in a wonky, zoomed-in way that makes the photo look grainy and poor quality. For the life of me, I cannot crop them in a way to counter for this. It’s difficult to use my wedding monogram because it’s not designed through Appy couple. It just seems like a lot less freedom than I’d like when designing my wedding website. I don’t know if other websites are easier (i.e., Zola, The Knot) but my friends’ websites hosted on these domains look much simpler, cleaner, and aesthetically pleasing.

    Hi there, thank you for your review! We're sorry if you had trouble customizing your content and would love to assist you in resolving the issue. Please write our support team at support@appycouple.com and they can advise the best dimensions for your imagery and assist you in whatever else you are having trouble with. In regards to the background themes, we offer solid colors if you prefer something simple and you can always switch until you find the one you like, we have over 400 for you to choose from. If you want a custom design that's possible as well, it's just not included in the account and therefore will incur a fee. You can also choose to disable the zooming affect on your website's cover page if you don't like it or hide that section all together. Lastly, you can upload your monogram anywhere that allows an image upload. You don't have to use an Appy monogram if you already have one.   • There is better out there.....

    Just notice most of the reviews are 2 years old or more. That should have been an indication.

    In theory this app/website looks great. However, it’s not as seamless and easy to use and if it’s user error I would ask why there is not more customer support.

    THE GOOD:
    - Cool having an app
    - pretty!
    - Can customize url (we paid to have a custom url for 1 year. Note - people don’t check wedding websites but I still prefer a custom so for use we still would do it)
    - Able to allow other people to join as Admins and help build out the site and populate guest list.
    - Managing RSVPs was cool but getting the information right so You could even do that wasn’t easy for me and my bride squad.
    - We were originally planning a destination wedding so having an app seemed like a great benefit to allow guests to have all information while out of the country. We are a COVID-wedding couple so we needed up not using it for that.

    THE BAD
    - We customized the site around a theme that we later realized we could not buy the paper suite to match. Many of the partner vendors they list on their site for paper either don’t work with them anymore or site no longer up. Disappointing. Ultimately I had to print different stationary to have for the few we wanted to mail and they were different from our whole theme.
    - Lacking customer support. They direct you to their FAQs and that about it. Again, disappointing.
    - Sending emails and managing invites from the software is a pain, redundant in creating...... If it user error having better customer support could have changed my experience.
    - Guest list...... Went through putting in guest details, email addresses and contact info. It was hard to manage specific guests, groups and customize communication to people within the software. Again, maybe paying money increased my expectation and I’m not apologizing for having expectations.

    I think this software is probably on its last leg therefore not having more engagement for customer support, partnerships to streamline user experience, etc. I got the feeling they might go out of business. Many of the reviews were old and that should have told me something. We got married December 2020. I would choose another app. This one had me hopeful.

  • Not easy to figure out. I would not recommend it to anybody.

    Not easy to figure out. It’s hard to tell who has RSVPed, the app is not human intuitive. I would not recommend it to anybody.
  • Such an amazing help!

    I honestly don’t know the first thing about planning a wedding in my own country let alone abroad. My fiancé and I love this app. It lays out everything nicely and looks professional. There’s so many lovely layouts to choose from it was hard to pick! We are so happy and thankful to have this app.

    Once you download and give them your information it requires you to pay $50 one time fee to access any of the app features.
