  • My first video interview was easier than I expected.

    The Air Canada App does a good job of prescreening candidates based on their customer experience and history. The instructions were clear. Having time to practice before recording was valuable for me. I may not get hired but I enjoyed the experience.

    What a pleasant experience. It has been many years since I have even had to interview and only once, about 10 years ago, did I have to do a video interview for an airline which will remain anonymous. I did not get the call back so that tells ya how it went!!! This app is amazing!!! Completely prepared me to be my best!

  • 5 stars for the app, but...

    I’m giving this app five stars because of its ease-of-use. I realize that different companies require different aspects of this app, but it worked great for me. I’m not a fan of video interviews. I prefer face-to-face, one on one to be able to connect to my interviewer. But I’m rating this app, not the process.

  • First Time Video Interview

    I was very impressed with how user- friendly this app is. I much prefer “in person” interviews as I like interaction, but in today’s evolving world, this is a great and convenient way to approach the hiring process. I was very happy for the practice option as it gave me the opportunity to get my camera and background set properly, and get familiar with the process. Thanks!

    I had my experience today and it was awesome. I could do the interview in one of my favorite places; a park. The questions were relevant to the job and the time given for each question was adequate. And you could fail because you are able to take the practice test as many times as you need. New Technology can be so Amazing!!!

    This actually was my first time on this or any interviewing app. I thought it was pretty cool that I was able to do a practice run. Yet true~ I wasn’t able to improve my practice run. I just took notes though and made a mental note what *not to do while on camera.
    I was nervous at first but actually thought over-all a good experience for a first time video interview. Thank you~ Hope I’m able to get this position if it’s to be, that is, for me! Looking forward to being called for an in person interview next! 🙂

  • Not completely satisfied

    I have done digital interviews in the past so this wasn’t my first run. But it was my first time using this app. I don’t like the fact that there wasn’t a way to record answers again or pause to give more time to think how you want your answers to be delivered. In my previous experience I was able to do that. I had an unlimited amount of times to re-record and to start over. If I didn’t like the way the answer was going I could easily delete and record again. I was even able to play and watch how I answered my questions to see how it was done and delete and start over if I needed to. This app didn’t offer any of those options except a practice run of questions that weren’t even questions that were asked in the interview. I gave it 4 stars because it still gave me access to do this on my device and record answers and submit my interview digitally. But such an overall disappointment because I don’t think it allows candidates to showcase who they really are.

  • It was an overall clever way of interviewing

    I think this is a brilliant idea. However, it could’ve been due to my internet connection but the screen would freeze as I was talking and my mouth and words weren’t at the same speed. I loved the video I watched about the company prior to beginning the interview because it gave me really good insight on the company’s core values. I do think we should be able to review and re-record given the fact that it is an online interview.

  • Sonic Automotive Interview

    I thought this way of conducting a preliminary interview was an excellent way for me to introduce myself by answering questions that are important to my potential employer. I’m very adaptable to new technology and I found it easy to do, overall. Being given unlimited opportunities to record my responses until I was happy was a big plus for me. It gave me time to jot down some notes and practice recording before hitting the submit button. This guaranteed I was submitting my best responses to the questions asked and I appreciated that. This app is great for the purpose it was designed for.
