Wonderful

My husband and I’ve been doing headspace for several years now I find it so pleasant and enjoyable. We really love Andy and Kasonga Eve and Dora. We would make a few improvements regardless of our love for the app… First of all I would like a meditation tracker on the widget so that I can try to “keep my streak alive.”

I would also like meditations that are truly inclusive of all people—which I know you strive for—encompassing the full rainbow of human diversity and the wide spectrum of mental health experiences. That said, as someone who is most joyfully inclined and deeply values practices that lift my spirit, I sometimes feel that an emphasis on trauma, hardship, or identity-based struggle—while incredibly important for many—can weigh down the tone for those of us seeking more lightness and elevation in our daily practice.

While I’m not part of the LGBTQ+ community, I absolutely support its inclusion. At times, though, I’ve felt that this particular narrative is given a disproportionate focus, making it harder to access meditations that feel more universally centered or joy-forward. I’d love to see a wider range of offerings that celebrate resilience, self-appreciation, and the beauty of simply being alive—meditations that help us connect with what we love about ourselves, honor how far we’ve come, and revel in the joy of our own unfolding.

I am now one with the universe

Headspace has allowed me to reach total uninaminimity.

Affordability and availability

I only recently downloaded this app and while it seems like it’d be great, I had to delete it almost immediately due to the fact that almost everything is behind an extremely expensive paywall. I’m a student at the moment so affordability is a big problem - I don’t mind navigating apps for the free features, but there are barely any on here. The few free features are so difficult to find too; they’re often far down the page and blended with locked ones rather than under their own tab where people can easily find them. Even simple things such as the basics of meditation are locked. Honestly, I think it’s a bit of a red flag that almost all of the ‘SOS’ features are also behind paywalls - if someone is distraught enough to need them, those should be available to everyone at the very least.

Existing customers .. be aware of this

Headspace treats renewing customers worse than canceling customers. If you cancel before renewal, headspace will offer 50% discount to keep your business. Otherwise, you pay the full price, even if you ask for a discount on the renewal date. Poor customer experience overall.

Zero stars - horrible customer service

I had the free version of this app (completely forgot about it because I didn’t use it). I ended up buying myself a sound machine instead as it was more economical. The app wasn’t listed in my Apple subscriptions. I was never sent an email about renewal and was charged $69.99 for another year. I reached out for a refund, as I never use the app, and was told they were unable to refund me, twice. This is a classic example of an app that preaches the importance of mental health and taking care of yourself, but completely disregards the wellbeing of individuals once it’s about their bottom line. Entirely disappointed and disgusted. During these rough financial times, taking into account a person’s plea for understanding and denying their request for a refund (THE DAY I WAS CHARGED) is heartless.

Updates

Every time there is an App update the communication with Apple Health fails.

App is a painful experience

Subscribed and cancelled within a couple of days. The app is so cluttered and unintuitive.

Amazing

Only 1 video but so much to explore

Not worth it

It would be nice to have at least a few free options. Everything is locked unless you pay. This app is supposed to help with stress, money is my stress.. and you’re trying to take more of it. No thanks.
