Chromecast?
Chromecast support would make this app much more useful. This is a basic feature now, as seen on other European News apps such as VRT in Belgium. Thank you DW for your excellent content, however. Please continue!Benno E.
Font too small
Please add an option to increase font size. It’s so hard to read unless you’re using a magnifying glass. Haha. Danke!!Alejossv
Usability issues
The application doesn’t allow to select a single word, for a look-up in a dictionary, for example. Only a whole paragraph can be selected. I wrote the developers about this issue a few months ago, but they seem to ignore it.
Another inconvenience is inability to use the swipe gesture to return to a previous screen.
Thus, the DW website has better usability than this application.Show lessKlovesius
No “copy link” option from share menu
I have to open a story in a browser in order to get a link. Most news apps let you copy the link directly from the app.masterpants422
Doesn’t really work well
When trying to watch live TV there is an overlay of sound which makes it impossible to watchPistolentom

overlapping sound channels using mobile
Worked wonderfully on my ipad through a resort's free wifi but on my iphone 7+ today, when using that mobile's data, had two problems:
a. using live TV, same item played twice & then did so again on another news item;
b. could hear sound in English & a channel in French at the same time.AdelaidePete
The slowest app in the world!

Thank you for your rating. If you are using the offline mode, please make sure to delete the downloaded data from time to time to speed up the loading process. You can do so via the options menu.Font size too small
I love the layout of the app, but unfortunately I have to agree with everyone else who says the font size is too small. At least with the full website on my iPad I can pinch-open the story wider to increase the size of the print. Not possible on the app.

Wishing for Chromecast support
Stream stops when you exit full screen mode. Stream quality was excellent. Other thing that would be nice if the app continued playing the audio in the background if you switch to another appXyzzypluggh
