Great app
Just what I wanted: premade flashcards with English to Japanese, Japanese to English, and (rare find!) kanji to hiragana. It's straightforward to use and won't bog you down with a million useless example sentences like other apps, which read more like textbooks than like time-killers. Love it, but...
I love this app! I get to learn many, many words. The only thing I don't like, it's the not knowing when you reach the next star in your learned word process. I know lesson N5 like the back of my hand in all three modes and I have yet to reach more than one star in any word. I'm beginning to think that you never advance. It's a bit frustrating but doesn't take away from the learning experience.Show lessEien Blue

Amazing
I love this app it is really fun doing the quizzes and challenging yourself to learn the new words you don't know. Of course this app is better once you have already studied Genki 1 and Genki 2 because the first level n5 quizzes you on most of the words learned in Genki 1 .Gunslinger73

Fun
It's a simple app, but it's quality in both fun and education are substantial. As a Japanese learner, this definitely aids in the expansion and solidification of my vocabulary. So it's a wonderful app all in allMj3678
Bad editing/many errors
This is no good. I'm a complete newbie at Japanese, but even I can spot this application is riddled with errors, example sentences aren't quite right, mixed up words (such as mixing up green and blue) etc. The premise of the app is good, but the editing is awful. They have a 'report error' button, but needing your audience to correct you sort of defeats the purpose of a vocabulary study guide. I worry, how many wrong things am I accidentally being taught from this app? I really hope you guys get a better editor, it could be a really great app.Show lessOnorobo
Great learning tool
I am half Japanese, with some verbal fluency but limited kanji. This app has been perfect for me to increase my vocabulary and kanji knowledge. The way the questions are ordered facilitates learning as you see the same characters used in different words. I would really recommend this for anyone with a basic to intermediate proficiency in Japanese who wants to improve.Show lessPinkbuggles
