One of the great Japanese Vocab apps, an excellent tool for both JLPT students and general interests students alike.
  • Excellent app

Exactly what it claims to be. Extremely helpful for vocab review.
  • Excellent

Great vocab study. Though if you know how verbs work it is easy to guess correct answer. A better algorithm for placing verbs with verbs should be implemented. So learning verbs with this is not as good as it could be.
  • Very Useful!

This is an awesome app! It's simple, useful and very convenient!

Excellent and appealing interface. Easy to use. However, the one gripe have is that at times I find myself able to cheat on the vocabulary. The reason for this -- if I see an unfamiliar verb, but 2 of the 4 possible answers are nouns, I now have a chance to get the answer correct without actually knowing it. Thus I loose the chance to really learn.

That being said, this is among the better apps I have found. Definitely worth the download.

Exactly what I was looking for!
  • Overall, good. Some errors

Overall, the app works well. There are occasionally errors. The pronunciation is off sometimes. Sometimes the word on the screen does not match what is being said at all. I was sending corrections to the developers. But as I got no response, I stopped.
  • Good but needs more free

Helpful and enjoyable to do during free time. Was unhappy only n5 is free though. Not cool. I think. If you complete all the achievements for n5, you should unlock the next one for free, and so on.
  • I Approve

The app works very well and it's easy to use. It's one of the better Japanese study apps I've used.
My only issues would be that I'd like to see the addition of settings that allow me to customize how and what I study. My only major issue with it is the multiple choice answers. Particularly in the Kanji mode, it is really easy to guess. I feel like I often get answers correct even if I don't know the answer. I prefer the system of guessing the answer in my mind, having the correct one shown to me, and then selecting how confident I was with the question.

  • Has room for improvement 改善(かいぜん)の余地(よち)がある

Well, I'm Japanese and downloaded this app to check whether it really works. I'm afraid that it doesn't seem to be made in Japan. Pronunciation is obviously odd. As another reviewer says, the voice doesn't match the readings on some words. However, overall the app is well-made. I'm not sure if it worth paying for, but if the bugs are fixed it will be a good tool for learning Japanese.
