It works (if / when it works) - just not very well
It’s expensive adding the required wi-fi gadget to a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries air conditioner so you might expect a top notch internet connected solution. Unfortunately what you actually get is an unstable app which can be counted on to crash at some point almost every time you use it. An annoying querk is the tendency for the air conditioners to be randomly reorded on the screen making it easy to mistakenly select the wrong air conditioner. When it does work, it only offers a small selection of what the standard remote control offers - just the absolute minimum. There is an Apple Watch app but it’s completely useless. It’s hard to even guess what it’s supposed to be able to do. The app is useful to the extent that it enables the possibility of coming home to a suitably warmed or cooled house. If this app was presented as a student project it would be very lucky to get a pass mark. 24-Aug-2022 update: Nothing has changed. The stability and all round quality of this app is frankly appalling. It reminds me of Windoze on a bad day in the early 1990s.
Here we are in Dec-2023 the instability is no better than before and the app currently doesn't work at all on any of my 3 air conditioners. So downgrading to from 2 stars to 1 star. I would assign a zero star rating but unfortunately this is not possible.Show lessNoWukkerz
Works.. sometimes
When paying extra for wifi control on your ducted air conditioner you would expect it to be reliable and work.
Well it works but it’s glitchy and not reliable at all.. you can’t trust it to turn on the a/c or make changes to the temp the first time you press it, you have to completely close the app and reopen and check to make sure it worked.
85% of the time it doesn’t work the first time.

Used to work well- not anymore
I have 3 of these remotes for 5 years. 4 times out of 5 the mobile app (i guess the servers) cannot connect to the remote devices and therefore I cannot change program/temp when I am not at home. I am forced more and more to use our old ac remotes :(jeffthenet
AC control app
I have 2 aircons controlled with the app. Super useful. It is nice to also see the outside temp before venturing out. However, when launched it often fails to connect and you have to retry. Seems to work on second go. Many times the summary page may show that the aircon is on when it is not. Same with the detailed page. When air con is turned off, it shows off but the con is still on. If we are not at home to visually check we need to run the app a second to be sure it has tuned off.Show lessBassclimber
Works, but only very basic functions
Been using the app for a few years now. Had some challenges connecting to new wifi router but tech support assistance was great and got it to work with written instructions and a bit of back and forth getting router settings changed.
The app itself doesn’t do much other then turn on/off, change settings and set some patterns and scenes. Had hoped for more options for energy saving such as adjusting min/max ranges, energy consumption tracking, operating hours tracking (read somewhere that it does that but I can’t find it), etc. Maybe I was just expecting too much or my Panasonic PACi unit is not equipped to do that?
Now trying to figure out if I can install a sensor on my AC that does do all of that.Show lessnew to home automation

Works sometimes, it does not control zones in a ducted system. No way to tell if connection is working unless you are close enough that you can just use your standard controllerLoki_101
Crashes often but does work
This app needs a significant overhaul. Whilst it does work about 80% of the time, it also just crashes randomly when just using it. Intesis needs to overhaul the app and make it as good as it should be, ie actually fit for purpose. I will await your response.

Servers are down too often!!
When it actually works it’s great.
But the servers crash (are down) literally every long weekend and holiday.
Simple Solution: Just make it a STANDARD PROTOCOL to restart/reset the servers before every long weekend and holiday.Milhouse2323
