  • Good quality, minor nits to pick

Good selection of sounds, high sound quality, etc.

I'd like to have the option to play the audio in the background so I can consult rules and save battery power.

More sci-fi sounds like lasers, blasters, a few button sounds would be nice too.
  • Definitely works

This is a great little app for setting the tone of a tabletop experience.

While the name suggests that this is designed for an RPG group, I've found the ghostly sound effects are fantastic for setting the mood for a spooky game like 'Betrayal at House on the Hill' or 'Elder Sign'.

Really improves the enjoyment of games that are about theme, atmosphere, and story.

    Recommended.

  • So many options!

The list of sound effects, is very large ( you have over a dozen effects for foot steps, alone) and it is very easy to add favorites and a custom 'soundboard', and my only complaint is that it only works in portrait mode even when my iPad Pro is in landscape.

Other than that, this app is great!
  • not great

I took a chance on this app hoping that it would provide me with situational music for our DnD campaign, turns out the music doesn't change when you change environments. It's one generic tune the whole time.
  • Update please!

Love the app. Not currently working with latest iPhone update.
  • Use it every week

This app is pretty fantastic. The content is great and the price is perfect. Other similar apps have subscription fees which I am not a fan of. My only criticism is the app interface. It is much improved but still feels a bit confusing and very dated. I have to dig down into two layers of menus to find sound effects that I want. Again, this app is amazing, but I think the next update should focus on a complete revamp of the interface, throw it out and start from scratch. A tight modern ui would make turn this app into something every DM owns.

  • Just started d&d, this is the app to get

Learning how to DM and finding that my storytelling is a bit bland. However when I came across this app I discovered that it can bring my storytelling to a whole new level. The sounds and music in this app is quite excellent, and it has a massive range. Love it so much, thankfully u for making this!!!

  • Cool, but...

This is such a fantastic idea and so close to being perfect. The UI is a real struggle. I can see a dice roller with different encounters and an advanced roller but no clue how to roll anything other than the Quick Roll. Also a play/pause button on the home screen! The fade is great but I want a general 'stop the noise' button visible. Will keep the app, but waiting for the next update. Keep up the good work :)

  • Inn

Taverns and Inns are frequently used. This is a great potential app, but as an example where improvements can be made: the Inn sounds like an empty pub in which one person is sitting eating a packet of crisps. That's just lazy. Please make it sound like there are actually people in a ye olde fantasy tavern

  • Non mobile mobile app

So I didn't even look into this app. Bought it off a recommendation only to find out it has to be connected to an external audio output. It's great unless I want to, you know, go anywhere with it besides my home audio setup, or pack an audio setup around with me, in which case I would just use a more powerful program on my laptop that I don't need to sync playlists across devices for. Great soundboard...just thought I'd be able to be mobile with it...since...you know, it's a mobile app. Let me play it through my wimpy iPad speakers if I want!
