Good so far but...
Only read a bit so far good but the only thing is the cartoony style contrasts greatly with poes words. Already in the 1st story the description of a girl in the portrait showing only the head and sholders and with an almost lifelike description not the near full body shown in the painting which is very cartoony and emo. Seems at odds with the images my mind creates from the text kind of ruins the atmosphere. Maybe a darker more gothic less cartoony drawings would fit better.Show lessRobertosilva

Amazingly Awesome!!
What an excellent way to read the spooky tales of Edgar Allen Poe. Stunningly scary but brilliant graphics, and the eerie music is so apt and movie like. It gives you that sense of feeling to the stories. This is the way all books should be. I'm still shaking after 'The Mask of the Red Death'.
Can't wait for the next series of tales.

Original and really enjoyable
What a great way of enjoying Poe's tales of horror - with interactive illustrations and creepy music and sound effects. I have taken a star off because flipping the pages over isn't very responsive - it always takes me several swipes to turn the page, even though I have tried swiping in all kinds of different ways. I downloaded because it was free, but I enjoyed it so much I would definitely pay for more stories.Show lessDigdug79
Very atmospheric
4 stories of Edgar Allen Poe brought to life with animations, music and sound effects. It's nicely done and quite creepy in places, a good intro to his work. It's all over a bit quickly though so I'm looking forward to additional material.Louhell

Soundtrack and visuals are excellent, quaint and haunting at the same time. Slight delay when turning pages but not overly annoying. A bit light on stories, however it is only volume 1.Benstu777

New stories
