The music and the interactive animations work perfectly with the words to really unnerve you. It's creepy and leaves you feeling a lot more shaken than just reading the book would do. This just goes to show how the iPad can improve on books.

Incredible.
Without a doubt the best Poe app available for iPad, probably the best for any portable device. The sounds and images breathe new life into the writing and the production value of the app as a whole is sky high.
The one flaw with the app is the amount of content available. I would love to see it fleshed out into a slightly more complete volume of Poe's work. Not all of it needs to be beautifully illustrated, even if you were to include his poems in the "Extras" menu as simple scrolling text boxes, it'd be a great way of turning iPoe into a one-stop-shop!Show lessMidianGTX

I'm not much of a book reader but this is definitely something new for me. The stories are great and are actually pretty terrifying. Definitely happy with this purchase. Would've loved "The Raven" to be on this volume though.. Can't wait for Volume II!squallboy25
Poe like never before!
I love these interactive books. Dracula being amongst my favorites. Now one of my favorite authors' gets a similar treatment.
Brilliant type-face, colours, animation and music, bring the stories to life. In way that bridges the gap between the written word and film.
After the long read that is Dracula, and dowloading the Complete Edgar Alan Poe; This felt a little light, with only three stories contained!

iPoe Collections are an amazing collection of interactive stories that make everyone want to read, discover and interact more and more. I am a big fan of Play Creatividad projects and ideas.

Like my previous two reviewers have said this app really does make Poe's stories come to life by making it a really fun and interactive way to explore the slightly darker side of a persons mind! The illustrations are amazing and are so clear and well cut on the ipad! It is most definitely worth the money and i would certainly recommend it to people wanting to find more about Poe.
