  • Grand-daughter Loves This!

I put this app on my iPad over a year ago for my then 2 year old for when she would come to visit. I try to limit her time with TV and the iPad but it is a great help when it's just her and me and I need to get lunch ready or she's running errands with me in the car. I have a few on there but she always goes to this app. She was repeating everything it said and could count to 10 by herself within the first month! For her 3rd birthday, I gave her/her parents an iPad mini before they left for their Spring Break vacation…..and my son called asking "what is "Nitus?" - She keeps asking for "Nitus" - after 2 seconds I knew right away "Agnitus!!!" And because her same account is available on any device she plays in after we log in - she is able to play on her parents and then on mine at my home and the program lets her picks up where she leftoff!!! An incredibly clever program. You won't be dispapointed
  • App doesn't work after March 6th update! Otherwise, great app!

I absolutely love this app, and more importantly, my son loves it. Parents can view their child's progress, and have a weekly email sent to them that contains their child's progress report. The app is very good about introducing new concepts . My child thinks he is just playing a game, but at for years old he can already add and subtract numbers up to 4! He knows his number sequence up to 20, and never misses an opportunity to count, spell, or identify letters and numbers at the store. Only problem...after the update on March 6th, this app no longer works. I have paid for the subscription, and I have 1 month left on it. If they can't get this fixed, I would like a refund for this month!
  • Not at all good any longer

My daughter used to love playing this learning app, and i liked it a lot too. It was probably our favorite app for our kids. It was fun and taught a lot of great fundamentals in an interesting, engaging way. But then in January they released a shadow update which broke most of its useful functionality and replaced it with significant lockdowns, shortened games, and a mis click traps that are unavoidable by a youngster. Now what used to be an awesome and fun learning experience is replaced by an overly expensive extortion that we simply cannot afford. I realize and accept people end to get paid, but 80 dollars a year subscription in perpetuity to a learning system is just too much. The company has reached too far in this case and we won't be subscribing. They created a great app and let us use it for a while and then put the screws on and that put a bad taste in my mouth also. Shame on agnitus.
  • Awesome Learning Game

My 3 year son is autistic & has overall developmental delays & this game catches his attention in a way not much does. He's learned things playing this app that I didn't know he knew. Suddenly he could count, knew the alphabet, and even knew colors beyond the basic ones. It's like a whole new kid, just from letting him play Agnitus.

Only thing I wish was that there was a place to tap to get instructions in some of the games. Not all of the games are intuitive to my son & I wish there was a set of instructions for the parents so they could help their kids understand what to do.

This game has helped so much that it is totally worth the fee to keep everything unlocked. I recommend it to everyone who has a toddler or young child that is either behind developmentally or needs to be challenged.
  • Great app

This is an amazing app. My kids and students love it. The graphics are amazing and my students really are improving in math, letter recognition, memory, and countless other ways. Only a few issues. The real life math portion with the picnic food seems to get stuck. I set it to only give one lesson in that area but my students are sitting on that screen for 5-10 minutes sometimes. In addition, it's not always clear what it wants the child to do. They often end up giving up and just playing with the food before I eventually come over and manually move them to another area. There also needs to be more language arts, phonics, sight words, reading, etc. and it needs to extend farther into kindergarten and first grade. My students are learning sight words and early reading as early as prek. I still have to use other apps to concentrate more fully on those areas. Also, as a teacher I need to be able to give each child's user account a parent email so that the parents automatically receive their child's updates and report cards. Right now I have to do it manually. But overall, by far one of our favorite apps!! We use it almost every day!
  • Best Learning App purchased

I purchased this app when it was first created and I literally watched my son progress verbally in the matter of 3 months. He wasn't playing it for awhile because I don't purchase in app and he mastered all of the learning plans but then the new upgrade included MANNNY new games and we are back in love again. The concepts and techniques are right on point for preschool. We use this app to reinforce his motor and cognitive skills. I would purchase all the plans but I'm really financially cautious. Then report card help you know exactly what skills to spend more time on. I'm in love!!!!!!
  • Fantastic

This is a great and effective educational tool for children. It is challenging and also gives effective negative and positive feedback. I haven't experienced negative feedback is many educational apps; lack of negative feedback hinders the ability to learn, so I very much appreciate that from this app. I'd also like to point out that if you are a homeschooling parent it is very much worth a month subscription. It allows you and your child to track their progress, gives them achievements similar to game consuls such as the XBox360, and also has a leveling system. This educational app game for children is ideal.
  • Incredibly overpriced and unstable

Like many other reviewers, I first purchased this app months ago and the games themselves are excellent and I love that it keeps track of your child's progress. That said, the monthly fee is utterly ridiculous although they have reduced the cost it seems from $15 to $5 per month. I am still not going to pay $60 per year for an app for a preschooler! Not only is the price ridiculous, but ever since this 'update' it crashes regularly and frustrates my child to the point she doesn't bother looking at it anymore.

I miss the old pricing (although the original per activity pricing was also very very steep). At least the old system allowed me to pick only the appropriate games, instead of paying repeatedly for games she's not using yet or games she has outgrown.
  • The game keeps changing so kids don't get bored

UPDATED: The new bee world number line games are wonderful! I used this game to help babysit 2 and 5 year-old sisters and they loved it. I think the key is that it automatically switches games from all that are available so kids don't get bored and go back to the home screen for another single-experience game. Unlocking all the games by sharing helps add to the variety. I never had a reason to install kid games on my iPad before but whenever you hang out with family and young kids, being able to pull out the games that will stimulate and teach them means joy for them, less stress for you trying to keep them entertained and happy parents seeing their kids learning.
  • Rated according to child's opinion.

Frasier loves this app. I gave it five stars for several reasons. The most important is the amount of attention the app receives from my 3 year old cousin (3 in a few days). He will play this app for 30 minutes or more at a time. It has entertained him for over an hour on more than one occasion. Another reason is that the app actually keeps him entertained and teaches him important concepts at the same time. He is working on his shapes, numbers (associating numbers with objects- counting) and letters now. The only problem I did notice was that he liked the monkey so much, he would lose on purpose just to watch the monkey come out and eat the fruit or whatever it may have been. I had to do some serious lecturing on winning and losing...lol
