Fix coming soon (update)
For anyone else seeing the same issue, don’t panic! No need to delete the app—just restart your phone, and you’ll be able to access your files temporarily until the next update rolls out. This is normal stuff when apps are evolving, and KeepSafe’s team has been great at responding quickly.
No app is perfect, but I’ve got faith in these guys. They’ve built a solid app so far, and I’m sure they’ll handle this bump just fine.
Update: I just wanted to follow up and let everyone know that the latest update has completely fixed the issue! KeepSafe is back to running perfectly, and I can access all my folders and files without any problems. Big thanks to the KeepSafe team for their quick response and dedication to their users. This is why I’ve stuck with this app for over two years—great support and continuous improvement

I don’t like the ability to recover a pin.

Thank you for your feedback. While we understand your concern, people forget their PINs and passwords regularly, even for important things like bank accounts. That’s why the ability to recover a PIN is essential for most users. We appreciate your suggestion and will keep it in mind. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

So disappointed
For weeks those additional files had been uploaded safely with no issue. Some obviously weren’t backed up, but at least they were privately secured on the app, so I thought. I opened the app randomly today to find the last two months of uploaded files gone! I didn’t know that if ALL files weren’t “backed up”, the app would just delete them at random.
Such a disappointment!! I literally pay an annual fee just to lose my files and be left with a minimal amount of cloud space with no option to upgrade…
Avoid Avoid
An app which would hold all data secure.
So I would store on the app and then delete them from my photo gallery or download files… etc
So my search got me to KEEPSAFE.
When I first downloaded the app - it was absolutely amazing for several months. It was the best vault ever.
Now …. Bang opposite. Nothing but a nightmare. Everytime I open it kicks me out. Only time it doesn’t is when I put on flight mode. But then I also realised my saved pics, data, videos are also not visible…
I contacted them and I was advised to update the app. Although my phone does it auto- I tried to update the app, but with no luck.
I was offered to get refund (which I don’t care about). All my data stuck in their system.
Bottom line - it is a total nightmare and I’m going to delete the app and the data with it (good job I have an OCD with security and I have all data stored in an other app.
I personally wouldn’t recommend it to any one to download and use.
Something has gone wrong
Imported files do no backup, I can’t send messages on the support section and it makes the rest of my phone lag really badly (these are just three main issues) lots of other pain points too.
I have been onto support constantly and had to delete and reinstall the app which is fine however even after this, it hasn’t fixed the problems.
I have tried to export the items back onto my phone and it will not work either so I am left with everything over the last few years on an app that I cannot use going forward despite paying for it.
