So far so good
Using it just as expected... Pros: pic as tag for item, like the info stored, ability to categorize, exp date warning. Cons: Itouch doesn't seem to scan items well.... Suggestion: would like to be able to have 2 locations (eg kitchen pantry and basement each with corresponding amt - now I have to list as 2 separate items which works... Overall very useful app for keeping track of what I have and need. Will be put to good use for pantry/grocery shopping, meds, as well inventory of gifts (I buy months in advance). Not exactly as promoted
Scanned in first 14 items, not one was found. Had to name each item myself. What is the point of having the bar code scanner? Disappointing purchase! Location would be useful, like freezer, cold storage, pantry etc. Like the upcoming expiry date warning & shopping list.Annie Mro
My Pantry
This is a great app! I've been using it a long time and it has helped me keep my pantry in the north and the pantry in the south separate and organized. I no longer end up with 2 or 3 of something in one place and none in the other. Every problem I had at the beginning was quickly addressed and taken care of. Each improvement has been wonderful. I do find that it is very time consuming and wish it would take less time for each item changed to upload, download and purse. That is the only improvement I'm hoping for in the future. Thanks! Needs work for sure
The concept of it is cool but it is unfortunate that the scan barely works in Canada. But if you have 4s phone it is probably just as easy to use the microphone button to dictate the item name. Hope it backs up Because if I lose all the work I just did to get it all loaded I'm going to be bummed!Dawnwark
Good but could be better
I like the app overall and it is really helping me keep track of what i have but there are a few improvements needed. You should be able to sort by quantity. Also it would be nice to show one item in two locations and coresponding quantities for those of us with food storage. Also you should be able to add items to shopping list not in your pantry. When you buy something on shopping list it should add the quantity to pantry automatically. I do love the sync feature. It works great. Bottom line:there is far more positive then negative. Very disappointed
It has a limited data base, I suppose it is set up for the United States not Canada. Out of 7 items only one scanned, also it is a lot of work to set up your pantry items. I think it's a great idea but needs a few tweaks to make it more manageable and timely.

Does what it says.
I wanted a stocktake & shopping list app, this gives it to me. Would be better if it recognized Australian barcodes. It crashed on me a few times, but it seemed to only do that when it reached a certain number of items. (I did my whole pantry, fridge & freezer). Altogether, a very handy app.Tiaro <3 Mary

Frustrating
Crashes and is unreliable. Need to manually add nearly all products if you live in Australia. It doesn't save any images you take with the bar code. It would nice if it could also store a 'packed date' for products that only have those types of dates.Batprat
