Good app, but it needs improvement
First the pros, it is a good app, easy to use, and let you keep a track of the items in your pantry easily. Now the cons, it requires a lot of improvements.
1. It doesn't have fairly any product in the database (at least not in Canada)
2. It doesn't have a good list of categories, I need to have one category for Sauces, one for flours, and so on. I know it is impossible to fulfill everyone's preferences. In that case the best option is to enable a feature that allows the users to create their owns categories.
3. Editing quantities of items is a pain. It comes in "1" by default, and "unit"... What about a slide menu for the quantities and units (kg, oz, grams, cc, or simply units).. And please, enabling fractions would be great to. So, one could input "1/2 kg. of rice" for example.
4. Do you know what would be really cool.... That based on the items in the user's pantry/fridge, the app would suggest recipes (even if all the ingredients aren't available). Some apps do it (check "epicurious" or "all recipes" for recipes and mixologist for drinks and cocktails)Show lessJfbotero

The is not compatible with the Australian data base so all items have to be added manually. Who has time to do that? Not a time saver. A waste of money if you live in Australia1R0NLADY49

I wrote earlier that I was having a major issue (as described in the bug fix above). I contacted the support and received the temporary solution within the hour. Very quick service!! I'm using the fix described above and it's working perfectly now.
I will be more than happy to give the app 5 stars once the bug is ironed out. Things I love: scanning in items to add to the list, keeping up with all my items so I don't have to wonder at the store if I have this or that. Things that will make it better: the more people enter items, the easier the process will get. Right now, I would say I'm entering half of them in by hand. I look forward to it being even easier as time goes on. :)Show lessmagoosmom75
