Disappointed
Honda Superstition Springs also told us that there would not be a subscription after the significant outlay of funds when we purchased our vehicle. We were pleased to be able to speak to Dfence and learned they are in our area. We pid the yearly fee last month but tracking hasn’t changed for a week now. Unfortunate
The two stars is for poor GPS performance and very slow updates to position. Literally miles between position updates. That being said, this is not a Dfence bashing story, I thought I would share my experience. When I bought my car one year ago, I told my local Ford dealership I did not want this installed as it added $600 the the vehicle. They said it is part of the computer in the vehicle and is “baked” into it, so it cannot be removed. Additionally, when I asked them if there was a reoccurring fee for it they said no, it is included in the price, one time charge. Two things wrong here, 1. I received an email stating to pay for a year subscription or service will be interrupted. 2. This is not part of the “computer” as Ford stated. In my vehicle the device is secured to a wiring loom under the dash with two zip ties, it receives power and data via a plug connected to the OBD2 port. I realize the deceptive sales practices of Ford is not the fault of Dfence gps. I thought they should know what is happening as it appears that they have an arrangement with some of the Ford dealers in the greater Phoenix area. This is based on my car shopping visit to five Ford dealerships, four of them said Dfence was part of the vehicle. The fifth did not advertise any additional security devices. Dfence is a Chandler AZ based company. Chandler is part of the greater Phoenix area. One more thing, I have not done this, but in my case it would take about 20 seconds to render this device useless for its intended purpose. Clip two zip ties, unplug the OBD2 connector and throw it out the window. I will update this if I get a response from Dfence or Ford. The latter I believe to be unlikely.Show lessAZ5691
App keeps crashing constantly
You really need to apply a fix to this app, can’t really use it, it keeps crashing, please do something about it!!Crnlsjn3

The new app is awesome. It’s way better than the old app. Tons of great features and customizations and it’s easy to use. Customer service is also outstanding. They are quick and responsive and listen to feedback (and implement it). This is a great tool to protect your car. Highly recommend it.JJ456Gospel
Disappointed
I was sold this feature when I purchased the vehicle for a beginning driver. The tracking feature was thought to give the parent of a teenage child less worry. It has proven to be a waste of hard earned money. I don’t get alerts until the following day and the location is not accurate.Mr.Jr.
Stellar Experience!!!
We would like to take this opportunity to express how exceedingly pleased we have been with our dFence system, as well as both Customer and Technical Service.
To expand on this, we had a service interruption due to our monitoring services expiring and were also caught in the middle of the impending Satellite service upgrade at the end of the 2021. Audrey quickly assessed these issues and worked diligently to provide a solution that would work for us. We were then conveniently scheduled with Colin, the Field Technician who met with us and in addition to being extremely professional, also worked to “clean up” the wire “mess” from the original install performed by the dealership as it was NOT up to his standard! Colin also walked us through the upgrade online and apprised us of some of the up and coming technology that the company will be rolling out very shortly. MOST impressive!

DFence
I have had my GPS device for over 10 years and not once have I had an issue. Being a single mom with two teenage boys my GPS was a piece of mind knowing where my boys where at any time night or day. As I get older and more forgetful I’m using it more and more just to remember where I parked my car. I love this device because this company constantly updates their equipment and keeps up to date with today’s technology.Show lessJan_Bell
Holy text message
I like the ability to track my bike and or gives my wife peace of mind that I’m where I’m supposed to be instead of in a ditch somewhere however the application will not disarm the bike once you hit disarm I guess it just automatically stops happening after 24 hours and 1 million text messages I think the app needs to be tweaked a little bit so that it does work or is a little more user-friendlyShow lessdirtybizkit
