Mysterious Changing Contact Merges
I don’t know what the deal is with this app, but I can merge, then re-merge and it will have a discrepancy of over 100 more contacts than the merge I did just 5 minutes earlier. It does have me concerned that I’m possibly having contacts merged into other people. I haven’t figured it out yet. It does seem to be working, except for the fact that every time I re-merge on a new day, I’ve had a total over 100 contacts in variation. It shouldn’t be doing this.

Does what it says on the tin. After getting a new phone and having over 100 duplicate contacts I either had to confront my demons and do each one by hand, or download this simple app. I’m glad I chose the second option!Walkerdizzle

Not the best experience with this powerful app. It did reduce my contacts from 10,000 to 6,000 but it did not resolve many duplicate entries. I could live with that outcome. However, it failed for me by eliminating, or failing to transfer, a great number of my group addresses... not completing all entries in a group and leaving a significant number of them totally blank. I figure it will take some serious reconstituting using past emails to get these groups restored for my administrative, teaching and business needs. Doesn’t clean up 100% as promised. Many contact duplicates remain and a re-analysis doesn’t capture them. Buy a different App!Ndakwal

I had over 3,000 contacts from 20+ years of professional and personal addresses. Managed to combine 1,000 duplicates.Summerblink

It looks great
However, checking contacts and merging seems to wipe favourites and photos and some contacts. From 250+ down to 30 is a big cut, after checking, most of my friends and family have gone and my own contact.
The restore only gets back names and numbers, but all photos gone.
It does show the duplicates, it’s just not good at merging, not for me.Show lessPaddeeR

App seems to have worked, but was not free. I had issues transferring contacts to a new phone and ended up with double set. Seen this free app and decided it was easier than deleting 620 contacts. It sorted and showed duplicates and fails to merge or fix them unless you pay $1.99 for the app upgrade. I did upgrade, but if I had 75 contacts doubled would have done it manually.Show lessmikeiniows
Terrible.
I have 5000 contacts.
App displayed a list of duplicates which were genuine (before requesting payment).

I had previously purchased this app for my iPhone. Although it was a few years ago, I'm still using the same device and the same AppStore account. But I had to pay again (after the analysis) to be able to merge the contacts lists. That's a shame.
Update: I reached out to them last year and they suggested a solution which didn’t work. I tried to de-dupe again now and the same issue persists. It asks me to update. Now, however, it says I already purchased and that I could update for free. When I accepted the free update though, it failed. This has nothing to do with my payment details or AppStore.
