It definitely merges contacts and is easy to use, but it will only find contacts with exact matches. It claims it finds partial matches, but idk what that is based on because there were easily 20 contacts with different names same phone number it didn’t identify. I didn’t mind the $2 until I found a free app that cleaned up 30 more “partial contacts” after using this one.Show lessMkramer297

Best app I’ve tried. Actually the only app that actually worked :). I even went to the Verizon store & they told me I had to go into each of my contacts and delete the duplicates one by one. I had over 1K contacts. That seemed pretty crazy, then I found this awesome app & it only cost $1.99. Well worth the $.Show lessJanholland1

It might sound simplistic but actually doing what it claims to do is pretty much what we users should be able to expect from an app.
CleanUpDupes nails it for that.
Simple to use. Fast. Accurate.
It does EXACTLY what is promised. Sadly there’s plenty of other developers out there who’s apps miss that target.

Very happy with the outcome!
I had years and years of contacts across multiple iterations of iPhones and Androids. Kudos to the developer for providing the option to dedupe across my multiple combined sources, i.e. Google, iCloud, etc. Lots of flexibility in settings for tweeking the dupe criteria. And being able to review the merge candidates before committing was a big plus. Very happy with the outcome. The result is a contact list that is free of dupes and about 75% shorter.Show lessArtPyrs

You have to Pay to merge, then it crashed, but overall it’s worth a couple of dollars to clean up 800 duplicates, and restarting the app fixed the crash.VirtuallyFamous
Tidy up contact list easily
Especially the paid version is a great app to merge partial contact information together under one name therefore providing an easy way to search for all information pertaining to that contact.FabMau7880

This was way too easy. I’ve been dreaded fixing that EVERY SINGLE contact in my phone had at least 2-4 duplicates. When it was somebody’s birthday, it was 3 others duplicate birthdays as well. When I told Siri to call someone, I’d have to confirm out of other duplicates. SO annoying.

I downloaded 3 apps before finding this one which actually rid my iphone contacts page of multiple repeat addresses. By the pro - its cheap and cheerful and gives you email file backup for your precious contacts. Recommended for non tech-heads! :)Heli69
