Little things that never get updated

Used the app for multiple years and there’s so many things that could be updated for better work flow that never get done.
Passwords are the most annoying thing… you can’t use previous 12, if you accidentally enter it wrong 3 times you have to call an 800 number. For some reason they can’t figure out how to use faceID.
The app never updates minor things like why do I have to select guttering on each elevation? Why doesn’t it let you have an “apply to all elevations” option?
A couple phones call with real life adjusters could make this app much easier to use it feels like.
One good note the 800 line customer service people are always friendly.

Terrible app

Made mandatory use by some companies, completely slows the claim closure process to many errors during set up and use for this app to be of any use. No resend functions for claims that didn’t go through then you have to wait 30 min to get photos makes table topping claims a thing in the past.

Why are they missing basic features

I use the app because I have to. It can come in handy, but in my opinion a macro can be easier. This app frustrates me mainly because of the lack of opening with Face ID, it’s so common on most apps. And the fact that my password expires over time is annoying and that it cannot be the same as my last 12, yes 12 passwords. Who seriously is stealing a persons phone only to hack into this app and write an estimate for someone? Frustrating, next time I use the app I will likely have to reset my password, because I won’t remember which of the 12 passwords I’m up to on my next log in.

Fix it

Think I have called in 10 times for the same issues.. app adds pain line items for everything even if it isn’t damaged. App is extremely limited with material variations. Can’t add in for damaged ride unless there is no CAD then it will let you.. simple stuff but when you are forced to use this app it would be nice it was a assist instead of a hinderance.

Horrible app

Takes a 4 step process per picture at best. Does nothing to speed up process. Dangerous on roof when requiring a 4 -8 step process to take a single picture. Jams Xactimate constantly where I cannot work on claims. Rearranges photos in report, making it unreadable. One bug after another wastes hours a day trying to contact tech support which only has regular business hours. It’s great if you only need 4 pictures per claim.

Xactimate is a great tool with collaboration of settleassist. Sending referrals is seamless, with the occasional lapse in input; such as po addresses instead of physical addresses. The call center is dedicated to addressing all concerns and will give a timely call back with instructions on resolving issues. For convenience in the field the captioning portions of your photo packet looks Grade A+

This is a test

It’s really not a good product

As an OA, being forced to use this app is painful actually it’s brutal. It creates the ugliest estimates I’ve ever seen, it duplicates estimates when opened as a supplement, it takes terrible photos that are grainy. It freezes, locks up and photos get stuck inside of it and you have to call tech support, when you’re working 5 and 6 inspections a day, this isn’t effiecent. One link in the chain breaks, Adjuster’s get behind. Maybe it’s great for new adjusters, but people who care about thier work product shouldn’t be forced to use this disappointing app.

Questionable ratings

My previous review can no longer be viewed. And it randomly started receiving a lot of 5 star ratings. Questionable.

This app is built for beginner adjusters to write a basic estimate. It isn’t useful for the intermediate to advanced adjuster. It is time consuming and prolongs the claims process for the adjuster and customer. 1 Star.

Slow crap

Those who are writing good reviews on this app I would bet are owners or employees of this company. App is slow, slows down estimate writing process by about 15 minutes on average. I could write the estimate in Xactimate in less than half the time it takes to use this app. Yes, I’m a real person who is forced to use the app.
