Two major flaws
Pro... I don't think so. This program has many nice features, but it also has two major flaws...
1. It has no night mode, making night flying with this app terrible.
2. Chart organization is terrible, making it difficult to access a specific chart quickly, especially at large airports with many charts. Using "favorites" is an inadequate work around.
Jepp Mobile FD has a great interface, much better interface than this "Pro" version. Sadly this is the version my employer chose, so I'm stuck with it.Show lessSqueeken

For those comments re: night mode
For those upset regarding night mode - I assume they don't know that the iPad has a night mode that affects all apps (which is nice if/when you leave FD Pro for another app). Here's how:
1) Go to: SETTINGS --> GENERAL --> ACCESSIBILITY
2) Scroll to the bottom and tap the TRIPLE-CLICK HOME button
3) Select "Invert Colors"
Wah-lah…..there's your night mode. I'm more disappointed that you can't load SIDs or STARs on the route.Show lessJewel of His Crown

This app it's a must have tool for a professional pilot. It helps a lot with very nice information about the route, ATC's, communication frequencies etc...

Not great or pro at all
I can't speak for the other version with night mode etc. but this version isn't all that great. The interface could be more user friendly and among the many things already mentioned that should be added (night mode, highlighter)...we should be able to save the routes we input since as airline pilots we often fly to the same places numerous times. We especially should also have the ability to view multiple charts at the same time side by side. I shouldn't be having to press so many buttons just to go back and view the 10-9 chart. I should be able to have the 10-9 chart up side by side with whatever STAR, SID, or any other chart I want. This would be incredibly helpful especially with all the RNAV arrivals now being used. The ability to have the arrival up with the ILS runway it transitions to, would be very helpful. Less time making key strokes on my ipad means more time paying attention to flying the plane. Over 50% of the pilots at my airline are relying on this app which is not pilot friendly at all. Every one of my fellow pilots has the same gripes about this "pro" app. I have no idea why Jeppesen hasn't taken the time to listen to their customers suggestions and correct these issues.Show lessFlyboy00
Typical
In typical Jeppesen fashion let mess up something that works well. Lots of great improvements to the mobile version( prior) now the pro takes night vision off and makes it again cumbersome to navigate. Talk about taking steps back... But I'm stuck with it because the previous version is no longer supported. Hate the new one. Me and all my coworker pilot friends. Jepps do u listen to ur users comments? Do u careShow lessEdgar Mora

Airlines do not purchase the pro version!!! There are better products that will help improve your cockpit safety and pilot efficiency. Jepp please read these reviews and update this app.RyanerAu
You get what you pay for
I can't complain too much because my employer pays for the app, not me. The big things that I have issues with are the inability to store flight plans and the fact that departure and arrival procedures can't be coded into the flight plan. With the Jeppesen name I would expect a much more capable product. As it is, I use the app rarely and rely more on paper charts.Show lessStrebor.eel
Ok
I like having my company's 10-7's but it needs to be organized like the mobile FD app. The charts are more difficult to access in this one as well as there's no night view in the app. Fix this and I'll give it 5 stars. Till then...Great sox news
Still no Nite mode
This app is lacking the user friendly sidebar like the mobile FD version has and is missing the night mode, highlighter, and weather. Plus the charts are not centered. This is no Professional version. Far from it. I don't get why Jepp named it PRO???wt93205
