i’m 12 years old. i have always admired japanese culture, when i was about 9 i started to find out about Japan by watching anime and that made me want to go there even more. i want to study college in japan and maybe even live there. this app is very helpful so i can learn japanese and full full my future dream!

Oh my gosh! This app is so helpful and fun! I’ve never been able to learn a new language this fast! I’ve been on for 4 minutes and I’ve already learned numbers from 0 to 9! All you need to do is be persistent with your practice! And the tests help me too! Not only is this app easy to use, plus free, it is so easy to understand I was able to take notes! If there was one thing I wish they would add is maybe a reminder to practice or a schedule. Can’t wait to use this app more and see how it improves in the future! I would 100% recommend this app to beginners in learning Japanese!

Way too complex in the first level
So you might be wondering what I mean by ‘way too complex in the first level’ well, when I started, I had to learn animals but when they said some words I had to put my ear to the speaker on my iPad and press the repeat button again and again and again. Some words are very hard as the app does not explain anything to you. I would suggest a different app that I used before. I stoped using the other app though because it needed money to go to the next lesson.

Japanese app
It needs a simple level then change to a mid-level into a hard level using sentences rather than just the word at the end in order to teach that ear to hear this different sounds. The advertisements would be better to be in bundles rather than with every lesson because they become distracting and annoying. Advertising is something that is needed I’m sure, but it would be better to put it at the end and have it as a choice of advertisement for something that you would be interested in rather than just throwing things out that most people are not interested in. Perhaps advertising for further education in Japanese, since Japanese was the app chosen.

This app is absolutely amazing for learning Japanese, I haven’t been using this app for a while but I do know it’s fabulous!!!!
One thing I would suggest is a way to make the person say the word you need slower or quicker, and maybe be able to make the person spell the word out!!
Overall, this app is fantastic, would recommend. :)
