  • Easy to use providing you wear sunglasses

    This is a great App. I have used it a lot ever since it was released. The only failure is the lack of a dark mode. It’s so bright white, it hurts my eyes. I have an eye problem where bright light and hideously white screens severely affect my vision. These days most apps have a Dark Mode specifically for this problem. Seems odd that I have an iPad all in Dark Mode, till I start the Westpac App and it’s like Microsoft used to be “Wall of White”. There is a setting for ‘wallpaper’, however, it only shows if you are not looking at anything useful, like links etc….. Wonder what the Developer was thinking! Would be good to hear Dark Mode is coming, otherwise I will have to change to another Bank just to solve this problem.

  • EASY TO USE

    Really like the app, not cluttered, easy to navigate but would like to be able to have our password managers create a password which are large and hard to guess even though I use biometrics, but there are times when your finger does not always work so I then fall back to my password but I am no longer feeling safe enough using that. But overall I love the app and thoroughly recommend it.

  • Generally good to use, but crashed every time recently

    I’ve been using this app for years and years and generally very happy with the functionality and ease of use. However, for a couple of months recently it crashed every time I used it on the iPad and I had to resort to the phone app (which is a different app). However, this now appears to have been fixed.

    The only outstanding issue I have is that there is some functionality that the iPhone app has that the iPad app version doesn’t, such as the virtual cards and access to the virtual CCV numbers.

  • Up until about a week ago, I loved this app.

    The app crashes right after sign in if you touch anywhere (on iPad) but one of the accounts. Only then will it not crash. Do you know how many times it crashed before I figured this out. So many that I was ready to switch banks just to have an app that works how it should.
    I updated everything and reinstalled it like all the help sites suggested. Still the same crash’s app.
    The mobile app works perfectly though. Just the iPad version.

  • Straight forward app

    Found easy to use and find what I was looking to do
  • Refusing to load

    I’ve been using and enjoying the app for years, however over the last 3 months every time I go to use, it it try’s to open then nothing. I have to delete the app then reinstall it. It only works once then next time the same happens again. My friend is having the same problem. Is this a common problem? I am up to date with the latest iOS.

  • Westpac banking for iPad

    For about 2 weeks the app appears for 1 second and then switches back to the home page. To fix the problem I deleted the app and then reinstalled it. However, this lasts for one or two days and the problem reappears. I repeated this process a few times with the same result. The strange thing is that the same thing occurs on my wife’s iPad. Hope you are able to fix this problem.

  • Get Familiar and You will Appreciate the Logic in it’s Use

    Once familiar with the platform it is easy to navigate and ensures there are enough steps in place that you check/double check your transactions before approval/transfer etc. Easy to use but also ensures you still have a leash on what you are doing. The most logical banking App I have used out of 6 different ones I use daily/weekly due to business. Anyone familiar with some of the others will attest to how clunky and horrible they are in comparison to this smooth platform.

    This app for iPad is clear & concise. Very easy to navigate and easy to use. Thanks Westpac.
  • Poor at Best No Excuse for such a big Company

    Sadly Westpac are almost as bad as CBA with how little support they offer in their iPad app. They even send emails telling you how to access new mail in profile but the iPad app does not have access to profile. For such a huge company this kind of hobbled app for iPad is inexcusable.

    Please fix it and give us access to all of the features you offer in a web browser/ smart phone app or stop offering this rubbish app once and for all like CBA has done.

    If a big bank doesn’t offer true ipad app support what does that say about the whole iPadOS ecosystem. Hmmm
