Fun, addictive great game
Having played now for over a week, I can say this is def worth getting.
It's a little slow to start, but once you join a corp and hit the danger zones of space, the game really starts to get interesting.
It's a lot more in-depth than it first appears to be but worth sticking with, overall a very good game, I highly recommend this.
It's like an iPad version of Eve online !!

This game is for those of you who love to have your own player, compete against others in real time fights, where a different grade weapon, or the amount of metal you can carry makes the difference between life and death. When you start it takes a little while till you get to the real fun. I am rating this 5 stars, as the game makers have just updated it, and taken out any bugs that I've ever heard off, They open new servers when needed, and they have made the possibilities in game endless. For every type of equipment there are different rarities, different bonuses and negatives, there also is the amount of durability it has left. There is so much to this game that I have yet to encounter, but I would recommend it to all. Have fun, if you wanna Join me, my in game acc. is

Funtabulous fun!
The infinite Black is a truly immersive and fabulous game to play. I am an old school mmo gamer and have not had so much fun in years and that includes all the major name pc games that has been out in recent times. If you like PvE and PvP, joining guilds/corporations to battle invading hordes of NPC invasions or fighting enemy corporations this is the game for you. I have given this game a five start rating but if I could give it a 10 I would! Try it, you wont be sorry that you did.

my style Text based space MUD.
Infinite Black is more of a space MUD than an what most would call a MMO. Think very simple graphics and lots of text and you have Infinite Black. It has some compelling "Trade Wars" meets PVP aspects to it, however the came has the potential to turn into nothing more than a long grind for enough exp to have a chance in PvP, then a even longer grind to get some advantage over your pvp counterparts.
While it is possible to play the game without buying any black dollars, their equivalent to real money, you will be at a significant disadvantage due to the aging population. Getting to a fighting chance requires either a large investment in time or money.
The game play itself is pretty basic even though all the text based commands could be somewhat overwhelming at first. You start off with a basic shuttle and gear. Your focus for the next 15 levels will be to kill (farm) the lower level mobs in the safe grey zone, eventually getting bigger to farm out in the black zone which leaves you open to pvp. Typically by that time, some corporation (guild) has invited into their protection.

First off save your social life and don't download this app. If however you do download it, close the curtains lock the door as your set. If you remember EmpireQuest (first proper space web browser mmo) you'll love this. Many ships, dozens of upgrades and thousands of ship/equip configurations! Hours of NPC combat saving for that next big gun. PvP is a big part too. Make friends, Forge Alliances, Conquer the galaxy with friends old and new.
Intense, immersive great all around space warfare gaming at its best. Highly recommended.

Decent game, spend money on cash shop wisely, it gets extremely expensive at end game.
Otherwise a decent game, based mainly around alliance warfare which has been kicking off for nearly two years. Join RED server if you like games that already have a bit of history to them. Write your own lore in your enemies wreckage as it goes lol.

One of the best strategy games around
I've played a lot of games and I have to say this one won't be getting deleted from my phone. First of all, this is a pvp game. In other words, you play against other people battling it out in spaceships. You can join corporations which are permanent groups made by players. These groups can then form larger groups called alliances. You start off in a shuttle with low end gear; killing NPC (non player characters) enemies until you have enough to upgrade your ship. There's an auction house to purchase gear and a market chat channel for immediate trades as well. The main purpose of this game is to win pvp points for a chance at high end gear. There is much more to this game, but i urge you play to experience it all. So I say to new people: if you're a fan of pvp, space and a decent community; then try out The Infinite Black. Needs a little more
I've been playing the game for a couple weeks off and on and keep losing interest, there is only so much grinding in the grey zones one can take before you go insanely bored with the waiting for them to die and weapon cool down if you venture out of the grey you just end up getting owned by the red guys and that happens in a heartbeat! Or other players kill you. I've gotten to level 5 and have the best ship that you can get at the main ship lot. The one worth $68k or whatever it is. But it's taken many hours I wish I had a timer that logged time I've spent in apps lol. Overall the game is good but it needs a better balanced combat advancement it simply takes too long to get anywhere and too long to kill things doesn't matter what I useShow lessDustination
Awesome game, and support
This game is awesome. If you enjoy Pvp, it is must have. It can be a little hard to grasp for the 1st hr or so as there is a lot going on, but if you spend a bit reading the tutorial you will be on your way in no time. The other part is the support. I purchased some black dollars (in game currency) today and had an error on my part, so did not receive them. I contacted support and had a response and correction within minutes. Trust me, coming from experience, this will not happen with most games like this in App Store. They are constantly updating and improving. Also it is very "new player" friendly. Numbers help win in this game so you will be invited to a corp. almost immediately. Once there your team is very helpful and will also help u get set up. Thanks whalesong for making a great game!
