Don’t use the app
Overheats iPhone and iPad during use. First noticed years ago and deleted it. Thought I would try again but almost from the start my iPad first became extremely hot on one side during use. Then days later the phone did the same thing. Using in Australia.Gaz5723
Frustrated!!!
I’ve been using this app for years daily & it just gets worse despite updates and despite what device I use. Some articles are there for months, especially in the tv/celeb section. when you log onto a new session despite clearing cookies etc it displays news from days ago, comments never load, comments can’t be added, comments get removed for no reason - half the reason I read is too see comments to see how the general public react to current events - too much censorship and a buggy app that jumps out and doesn’t load comments - really annoying!!Show lessCallum951

“Vital drugs may run out next week”.
Do we really have to have the same headline notification shoved down our throats every fortnight?
This same notification has been thrown at us on a regular basis since almost the middle of the pandemic to date.
Vital drugs didn’t run out, they haven’t run out and it’s highly improbable they’re going to run out next week or the week after. There are a million important, significant and newsworthy issues going on locally, nationally and globally but this piece of dubious speculation is given precedence as a notification over and over again.

Rubbish app
You haven’t fixed any issues with the small font in the comments section (I’ve already stated that I’m visually impaired so need the option of larger font in the comments section), the removal of comments that are constructive in criticism of people or their political agenda is totally unfair and I’ve had 2 accounts banned because of the inadequate moderating system were any comment even if it’s not overly critical can get removed. I’m done with this terrible app with poor articles especially with the football ones which shows a clear bias towards certain teams and is quick to criticise certain other teams at any given opportunity if the team is in bad form. Don’t bother with this app as it’s just full of the usual articles on Z list “celebs” and nothing interesting anymore and all of the above I’ve mentioned.Show lessBino079

Hi, we'd like to apologise for the inconvenience caused. We're aware of the issues on the loading time and responsiveness of the comment section, unfortunately, as I mentioned before we don't have much control on that page to increase the font or change colours for example. We've opened a ticket with our comment provider and they've acknowledged a bug on the loading times, they're currently working on fixing this issue so please bear with us whilst they finish this work. Annoying
Like the app keeps me up dated on Football from back home but lately the app stalls and freezes and you can just scroll through and ready and slows my phone done completely till I close the app completely and my phone works perfect again once it’s closed it never used to this it’s that annoying I’ve actually deleted the appShow lessDaveycolly1717

Does anybody at the Mirror actually use this app. If they did surely all the bugs would be sorted, if I where paying a developer the retainer for this app I would be asking for a discount. Freezing articles when scrolling & comments never load or worse, half way through reading the comments they disappear. It seems they decided to move the old reliable comments page to some new wizardry which just can’t stop crashing. But as the Sun app is basically a carbon copy of content with this one and theirs works, you can find me there.Show lessmattymatt100

The Kenosha shooting was justified! That 17 year old kid was clearly being attacked and was stuck my a BLM protester with a skateboard. He was protecting himself!!! Why are you making BLM look good when they are quite the opposite?az2calidaddy
Comments are a joke!
Getting content is easy and reliable. Posting comments is a minefield. Most comments I try to make are rejected because I apparently use words that the moderator bot doesn’t allow? I recently tried to make comments using only words that are in the story and they were still rejected because “they contain words that we don’t allow”? Maybe I should stick to thinly disguised profanity as other users do, if I want my posts to appear?Show lessThe Muttman
