  • Locks up phone

    This app has gone downhill. Opening it up always causes my iPhone 13 with latest iOS to completely lock up like it’s chewing up all processing power or memory. I’m forced to switch apps (which takes a good 30 seconds to happen) then force quit. Furthermore, it logged me out recently and now when I use my Google account to log back in I get some json error and it just sits there and try’s to load forever. Yes I mean forever. I once let it sit for 50 minutes and still “loading.” 10 years ago I started using a different small developer car maintenance tracker. When it became unsupported I was forced to look for an alternative to track all my maintenance. I chose CarFax since it’s a large entity that will surly be around for quite some time. This is leaving me wondering if all my records are gone and what I’m supposed to do here on out.

  • Feature Request

    Love the app, would be five stars easily if:

    There was a missed fuel-up option, so that my mileage tracking doesn’t get skewed if I forget to track one or more fuel ups. With the option, it would just start tracking anew, I believe other fuel tracking apps have this feature.

    An option to track service intervals for maintenance items, like spark plugs or transmission fluid. For vehicles that don’t have a recommended service interval in the app, it would be nice to be allowed to manually input repair or maintenance items and set a mileage or time interval to keep track. Outside of just oil and tire rotations, and brake inspections, air filter, transmission fluid, coolant, belts, and other maintenance items would be fantastic if we could keep track of when those were last done and when they will need to be done.

  • Used to love this app

    Nothing worse than programmers who think that just because than can, they should. The new feature of major mileage service reminders is very annoying. My dealer inspects everything every time I visit. If it needs replacing, we discuss and replace the part. Thus, I don’t need to do the owner’s manual service plan. The only way to clear the notification is to say you did the full service plan. But again, I don’t service my vehicle that way. So, I’m left with the choice of an inaccurate service record or a constant red badge reminder, that is pointless.

    These type of things should be made optional in settings. If it’s helpful, it can be left on by the user. If not, then it can be turned off. But no, programmers know better than me as to how to care for my vehicle.
