It’s such a shame that this app is so glitchy. I would use it all the time if it worked smoothly. Books that I have downloaded won’t play without a lot of fiddling. A great many people don’t want to sponsor Amazon and want to support independent companies, so, pull your finger out. The web based version works fine.

Why is there no option to play through an Alexa
Skips very end of chapters
I like this app. The books are affordable and there is plenty to choose from. However, every other chapter it seems, the last 20-55 seconds are missing. It immediately goes to the next chapter. You can’t even manually go back and rewind/fast forward to the skipped spot. It just doesn’t exist. So it’s a little frustrating when you miss important details.
UPDATE: I think I found how to avoid the skipping problem. STREAM the book instead of DOWNLOADING it. I’m on the second book I’ve streamed and haven’t run into the problem. So I highly suggest streaming it.

I live the app and the choice in English but my deception is that I would had love to purchase as well directly from the app and sometimes books in French too

I have used audiobooks now for several years and have purchased over 50 audiobooks and have enjoyed all of them. Easy to navigate, listen before buying and easy to purchase and download. Member prices are 50%.

I am so glad I found Audiobooks Now. The prices are low & the sales help me build up my audiobook library.
I listen to audiobooks practically 24/7 even when going to sleep at night so the timer function helps me to not loose my place should I fall asleep quickly; i usually set it for 15 minutes.
I like the wide variety of genres although my regular listens are “cozy mysteries”. I appreciate that I can listen to a sample before purchasing to help me see if I like the story or the writer’s style and/or the narrator.
I recommend this app to anyone who loves being read to.

Good app
I like this app because I only occasionally want to purchase an audiobook. This way, I don’t have a monthly fee and can buy a book whenever I desire. It also has a good selection of the books that I like. The price for the books is a bit high compared to some of the other apps, but the quality is good.
One problem that I have is that some of my books became corrupted, and I have lost part of them. I need to re-download them but I don’t know how to find the place to re-download. I would appreciate it if the developer could tell me how.

On your "My Library" screen simply touch the "Hide / Archive" button for any audiobook you want to re-download and choose "Archive" from the menu. The "Hide / Archive" button will change to a "Hide / Download" button. Touch it and choose "Download" to re-download the audiobook. Apple takes 15% of every transaction through our app so purchase from our website www.audiobooksnow.com for a better price.
Easy to Use and Affordable
I am an avid reader, recently turned avid audiobook listener. I heard about Audiobooks Now when I was gifted a membership and I liked it enough to stick with it after the initial period ended. I like that this membership offers a nice balance of affordability and only paying for what you actually want to buy. I found the app to be straightforward + easy to use and have never run into issues with it. I recommend this service and app to my fellow audiobook friends all the time!

I rather like an audio book
I rather like an audio book - they help along the house chores and long commutes. I’d pretty much exhausted my library service so it was good to find Audiobooks Now and a way to avoid funding Audible and the Amazon machine. I really enjoy browsing the Specials - it’s put me on to some new authors - and as a UK listener I find there’s enough here for me from UK authors/narrators. Of course there’s always room for more!
