  • Indispensable Guy’s review made Me Cry (just a little)

Seriously, I will never say it as well as indispensable guy and (I now want to be in a band with him) Could not agree more-
this is no app. It is an instrument. Really amazing job. I loved it from the git go. And I am far and away a guitar player. I love love love this thing. OH, AND I AM SO ANALOG!

  • Drag and drop from Mac with Universal Control?

Would be great to be able to drag samples from Mac straight to the interface of Samplr on iPad with Universal control. Also still hoping for AUV3 someday!

Not much else to say but this is beyond a great app. One of the very few apps that once you master can really put you in a flow state and leave you with inspiring sounds at the end.

  • I’ts useless

I cant upload my files. I cant use it as a UAV3.
It has no tutorial. Its useless and i was ignored when i asked for a refund ( i asked it 1 hour after using it), unlike other apps that have refunded it fastly and without a problem.
I think this is a scamm app with a very nice interface, and a mystique explanation of what it really is……..

  • 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨

Please scale it up to fit iPad Pro 11 inch screen
  • Amazing to say the least

I’ve made some of the most interesting music using this ever since it came out. I still don’t think there’s hardware or software that can do what it can.

    Thank you guys
  • An iOS Classic

One of my all time favorite music apps for the iPad it helped me explain sampling to my son when he was very young. It is a wonderful use of the touch interface with a genuinely great user interface. So glad it is still available.
  • Quite literally my fav app

    ❤️
  • One wish list

The ability to import and remix longer samples like songs and speeches. Now that would be utterly amazing.
  • STILL The King!

The fact that this is 7 years old now is both stunning and slightly depressing. I’m in awe of the fact this dev rolled this out back in 2013. If it came out today, it would still be groundbreaking and one of the most exciting new apps.

I really, really wish this dev would put some focus back on developing iOS apps. This thing is pure gold and I know he has some other hits in him!

  • Thought this was going to be awesome....

So, I purchase this app really excited at the work flow and intuitive design - which it is. I really like that it would definitely augment my music style as well. I bet it’s a great source of inspiration but, I wouldn’t know.

Let me start with an extremely small gripe. When it comes to the visual part off the U.I., I would only change one thing. The two record buttons - they’re are a little difficult to distinguish which is which. Maybe one with a hand to show it record gestures and activity, and the other have a little speaker to show it records the audio. Or something like that.

When I said I wouldn’t know about this app being inspirational, it’s because I can’t import audio files from the files app. I can’t move audio files into the samplr folder in the files app and then see them in the samplr app either. I may be able to use a computer to put the audio files into the app but, they’re already on my iPad. Why would I put two copies on my iPad. That’s silly. I could use audioshare - if I owned it... so, in order to use this app, I must first buy this app, then buy audioshare, or maybe some other convoluted messy way to do something that should be built in. For someone who works for Apple, it seems like an odd decision to not use the tools at hand (the files app) to create a streamlined approach to a nicely streamlined, intuitive app. I just can’t understand. I love the idea. Wish I could utilize it. I hope it gets fixed but, it may get “returned...’’
