  • Thank you for your pledge

I’ve been agonizing for a while over Samplr, and giving a lot of thought to EG’s Segments...wondering if I could possibly squeeze out the money for either one under the current circumstances.

More than your price cut, your donation to racial justice settled the matter, and here I am - a new owner of Samplr. Thank you again.

  • Nothing comes close to capabilities of this app

    Hey,
Come out with a V2 or something, so I can buy it again
  • Still my favorite music app

There is nothing else that touches this app for creativity and original results. Thanks for the recent updates!
  • Recording Tricky To Figure Out

I thought recording was broken, but only because it’s a bit tricky to figure out the interface. Watch some tutorial videos closely, and you’ll get the hang of it. The developers were good about getting back to me quickly.

    Developer Response

Hi. The recording issue was fixed a long time ago, you must be stuck in an old version of the app. To update to the latest version of Samplr you need at least iOS 10.3 and a 64bit iPad. If you have any other issues please reach out support@samplr.net
  • Really cool app!! Thank you to the developers!!

I’ve had this idea to record my voice and scratch to it all live all on the fly. Samplr is the ONLY app I have found that can do this! Plus it has other real neat features. A few MIDI controls for recording would be nice, but it’s still worth it. Thanks Samplr Team!!
  • Amazing!!! Get it Support it.

Wow we finally have channel panning!🎶😊😁🤩📈⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟
    Super!
Bring on those in-app upgrades so we can support this genius and unique app.⚡️⚡️⚡️❤️👍

Since its release, nothing has come close to what this app has to offer. Sure, there are other granular apps out there but non have come close to the flexibility and durability of Samplr. It’s not just a granular app it’s also a great sequencer daw which goes beyond the conventional with great potential to go even further with community support. (Let’s make it happen ). If you never experience this, now here your chance. If you already have it, show support by giving ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️and comment favorably to also encourage in-app purchases to allow this app to flurish.

  • Amazing app

If you’re interested in sample manipulation look no further, Samplr is for you. Samplr is super intuitive and playable. Great fun, highly recommended!
  • Indispensable Lateral Music Making Marval

I've been using Samplr to play live over five years. Samplr is an intuitive kinesthetic touch based instrument with zero menu diving.

In a world of reasonably high quality analogue budget synths and expensive hardware samplers it’s important to give occasional pause and recognize the beauty of working with machines or software that posses limitations.

These so called ‘limitations’ mean less options. Having less options means less paralysis by analysis, and fear of missing out from not having ‘mastered’ all functions instantaneously.

By using machines with less options you exhaust the possibilities of what is theoretically possible. Once thats been accomplished you can start approaching it from a lateral or novel perspective.

Samplr allows you to exhaust all of its functions rather quickly; you can learn them in day or two. In six years I still find new ways to use the the tools provided. I imagine in six more I still will.

It's my favorite instrument I have ever played and is an indispensable part of my set up. I use it to jam, to play everything I make live, dawlessly and to compose.

I recommend it to everyone regardless of the genre of music you play. Hip hop, ambient, dub experimental, noise, music concrete. It does it all.

The one music app to rule them all!

  • Awesome App but no Mp3 support?

This truly is a great application. It’s almost like a granular sampler and it allows you to cut up samples and the craziest ways. When used separately, it can bolster creativity while letting you come up with some very interesting ideas that you can then turn into four songs on a full-blown DAW. However it’s a bit disappointing that it doesn’t support MP3 format and only supports WAV. If Devs can add this feature it would be truly awesome

  • A couple of things keep it from being a 5 star ios app

There is nothing else really like this app out there and it’s awesome as a stand-alone instrument.

What’s holding it back is lack of midi implementation, lack of auv3 compatibility, and cumbersome sample import. For a 30$ app one would expect those features in 2020. If the developer updates with those this would be a no brainer must have for every iOS producer/musician even at the price.
