DO NOT USE FOR US TRAVEL!
I am a resident of the United States, and after securing my rental car in another US city for a 10-day vacation, I was attempting to amend company through which I would rent. The App would not allow me, instructing me to call for assistance. After contacting their only office in the UK, I was told by the Operator that they were incapable of amending my reservation “due to federal regulations in the US”. I was then instructed to attempt the amendments through their website, not their app; again I was given an error message instructing me that amendments could only be completed via their telephone contact.
I would strongly discourage anyone from using this “service” if traveling within the United States.

Better off going direct
I used Rentalcars about 5 times in the past with generally OKish experience. What makes this time even worse is that the provider was suggested by Rentalcars, and that is the main reason I picked them.
In general, the cars advertised are never the ones you get. I understand that it can be difficult sometimes but on 5-6 occasions I never got the car that was advertised, always got a worse brand...
Company was not located in airport terminal as advertised, we had to walk 500m with all bags and baby. I paid premium for a company that is IN the terminal. When we walked to the rental location this company was not even there but had to walk further to get to them. Took us 30 minutes find the company as no one was able to help finding this TargetRent company.
The company did not have child seat ready as requested. They had to borrow it from the neighboring company, it was a lucky escape.
The woman at the counter was rude and upset customers in front of me as well.
Screen wash was empty in the car and tyre pressure indicator went off during the rental.
On top of this, because of the poor coverage Rentalcars offers, I had to fork out another £170 to give me full cover without being able to get a refund on my Rentalcars cover. (My fault for not giving a better read to the terms and conditions.)
All of this because of Rentalcars recommending this particular vendor. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to trust Rentalcars again in the future.

Great prices & user friendly app
Rental cars have done well with their well designed app and quick options on the app. Competitive prices also. Highly recommend.
Nightmare
This experience certainly ruined the beginning of our holiday.
We missed our car pick time due to uncontrollable circumstances, (flight delayed ) we arrived at our holiday destination and had to taxi to our accommodation as our hired car had been rehired! This Rentalcars company would not transfer our booking onto another car hire, we had to make a completely new booking!!
We were also informed we would be charged a cancellation fee and we would only get that refunded if we booked through them.
Please note we were on the phone for over 40 minutes on hold and trying to negotiate a reasonable outcome, this was extremely exhausting and frustrating, the other issue was English wasn’t the customer service staff first language.
This has been Extremely expensive and disappointed experience. :(

Employees steal upon return of car rental
Returned car returned Sept 1 Ank Am airport stepped away from car two men drove off with our $700 binoculars on the passenger floor side of the car. We stepped inside the airport entrance and remembered them and went right back to these men they said sorry they didn’t see them That’s employee stealing that’s a huge customer service problem I have filed a theft report with the customer service online as after going straight to the front desk to address this issue with a manager they were not helpful or we couldn’t connect immediately by phone to any other representative operator or other for the rest of that several hour time span . Never use Avis can’t trust their employees !!!!!!

Satisfied Driver
I like the fact that I do not have to use my CC information when booking rental. I would prefer certain car rentals not be an option on app or website due to their poor service...
This is a HORRIBLE company
I rarely write reviews. I hardly ever return anything to a store. I just learn lessons and move along. However, every so often a company will deserve solid praise - or another company will warrant a warning to those approaching them after me. Please take heed from my experience, as well as others who have written here before me. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR VACATION MONEY.
I paid for 3 weeks rental for my trip to Sweden many months ahead of time. When I got to the Hertz counter, I ended up spending nearly an hour there. And I was the only one there! Short version: they had only a record of my paying for half of the total owed, when I prepaid 100% months ahead of time. Back and forth between the guy at the counter and his superiors in another location - with the guy reading to his superior from my iPhone conformation page. Final verdict: I owed an additional $275 dollars. Half of this was a change to leave the car in a different location from pickup. I already paid this additional fee when booking. Coming here after the fact I see my experience is not an isolated incident. I WILL BE GOING FAR OUT OF MY WAY TO WARN AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS SNAFU COMPANY!!!

Quite Confusing and Frustrating
Im so sorry but I have honestly found this app to be quite confusing and frustrating. I ended up booking the same car twice and I was not sure if my payment was approved or not because I didn’t receive a receipt of confirmation of payment etc. I’m sure I’ll get better at using this app but thought you might like to know. Easirent
Hiring a car via easirent nightmare do not use ever again appalling. No clear pick up point displayed no telephone number to call them if wi Fi or phone lost stolen damaged. When you do ring don’t answer. Walked from airport heavy bag lone elderly female. Upset hot frightened. Attitude staff poor explained need identifiable post with number to call at airport itself to enable collection. Attitude should ring us can’t pick u up if don’t ring. Explained no number on the phone and chap also waiting said even with the correct number they don’t answer so that’s rubbish.
Told them I had extra cover via rental cars told me and shown me how rubbish that is and that would have to take £1000 deposit or pay there insurance further cost hidden cost.
Car not clean dead flies all over it ... told I would not get my car if did not stop complaining very upset 20:45 at night worked all day busy ward and heavy bag no transport or clear instructions appalling.
Never use them again have said this before but unclear car is actually with easirent until already paid.
Not doing your site any good using this company.

Payment using the app
I tried several times to pay for my booking, using the app without succes. The app tells me: thank you for your booking, but when I check back, the payment did not go through.
Other than that, I am enjoying the app.
