Reviews of CloudBeats

  • fantastic music player

i wish i could figure out how to just edit my old review from when there was a major issue with the app, but i'll figure that out after this. this is an INCREDIBLE app, i love being able to store all of my music in one spot and the developers are very responsive when something starts acting up, every update has made the app more functional and efficient, ive been using it for years and i always recommend it to anyone who wants to keep their entire music library on their phone.
  • The best solution to a massive music library

I’ve been searching for an app that allows me to keep my multi-thousand deep iTunes library in the cloud, yet give me a slick UX that enables me to play those songs, create, playlists, and even download some for off-line play.

This app does all of that perfectly, and is the single best solution I’ve found for wrangling a massive music library.

Don’t waste your time looking for a better solution, it’ll only lead your back here. 5/5
  • Amazing development over the years

I’ll try to keep this short and sweet, as I could go on about how amazingly wonderful this app is. Written July 2022.

    • regular updates over the several years: new features and improvements are quite common for what can be seen as a relatively simple app

    • Siri integration: this is a new feature and lets me use Siri Shortcuts and automations, something I’ve wanted from this app for a while and is now here. Makes life so much easier especially when connecting to several airplay speakers. I can now do this with one tap versus multiples taps/apps before

    • great developer: Roman replies to emails when I report minor bugs, as well as when I have suggestions, several of which he has implemented

    • functionality: it does exactly what I need from a music app. Syncs with my cloud music folder and lets me download my entire library for buffer-free listening wherever I am

    • CarPlay: simple layout, even lets you toggle shuffle on/off. I now have an automation (thanks to the new Siri integration) which begins playing music when CarPlay is initiated. Love it!

I’ve used CloudBeats for years. Literally hours per day for the last, oh, probably 7 or 8 years?? So happy I found this app. Music is everything to me and CB makes it easy for me to enjoy all my tunes :)
