  • Mobile deposit makes you want to throw your phone

    There is nothin more crazy making than an app telling you ‘the amount entered doesn’t match the amount on the check’. Over and over and over. Or saying you haven’t endorsed when you have. Or erasing the check images a half dozen times and making you take the photos over and over again. I’ve even resorted to endorsing TWICE to get past their incredibly poor validation system. The problem is once you endorse the check for mobile deposit, it can’t be used at another bank or even mailed in. If they don’t fix this feature I’ll seriously look at changing banks even though I love PFCU and have for 25+ years.
  • Not the best app

    Using this app because obviously is the only iPhone app for the bank. First of all it takes a lot of time to load, doesn’t matter how fast your internet connection is or if you’re on wifi.
    Also the transactions some of them doesn’t appear right away, like for example gas stations they don’t appear for like two days and if it’s on a Friday probably until next Tuesday. With other banks even if the transaction still processing and doesn’t show on the app you’ll see the deduction on your balance, with this bank no.
    That’s a problem because if you do several transactions in a day that doesn’t lower your balance instantly can get you into an overdraft.
  • Absolute worst banking experience.

    I’ve been with Partners since 2001 and used to really love this credit union. Since the merger with Vista everything continues to go downhill.

    The app has just become a complete mess. The recent updates have made it unusable. I have three accounts with Partners and trying to use access them is almost impossible. 99 out of 100 times I would get an error message and the app would shut down automatically. I would keep opening it until finally it would let me in but then have to go through that process again if I wanted to access another of my accounts.

    I called Partners and they told me to delete and reinstall the app. I did that and now I cannot do anything. When it immediately opens I receive an error message that says “INFO An error occurred while making this request. Please check device connectivity, server url and request parameters.” When I click “Ok” the app shuts down. Called Partners again, my device is fine and up to date, no help and will need to wait for a specialist.

    On top of that, I can’t even access the partners websites from my mobile app even though I delete the cookies each time. I’m so frustrated. The old app wasn’t pretty but at least it worked. I can’t access my accounts easily and on the go which makes me want to switch banks.
