Car loan application is horrible
This isn’t a 1 star app at all, but I just wanted to make a point. For years I’ve had a pre approval for a car loan in my face on the app and I finally want to buy a new car. So I clicked the link and went through the car loan application. It took me to the school first mobile website that didn’t function well and had very little information on it. I was approved for a loan but it gave me an amount and terms that were nowhere near what I wanted. I thought I might have missed something so I tried to go back and do it again with the terms I actually want. This time, I had to fill out a lot of information I didn’t have to fill out before. It was still jumbled and confusing. The site works like it was programmed in about 1999. I’m in the “submit” part of my application and it never even asked me what term I wanted. All of this for a pre-approval that is a full 1.4% worse than the dealer APR. Incredibly disappointing.Show lesskcebttocs

I retired out of state eight years ago. I’ve been a member of Schools First for twenty-six years and will continue with the credit union ‘till the plant my carcass. I’ve used the mobile app for all of my banking transactions seamlessly since settling in a remote unincorporated village in the mountains of the Sonoran Deaert not far from the Mexican border. The nearest banks are a 45 minute drive away. I make deposits via the app, receive money by Zelle, have arranged loans and international financial transfers, pay my bills and manage my finances from the app. Each iteration of the app has made it just that much better. Its reliable, easy to use, the format is intuitive and simple to navigate and has easy links to messaging and phone calls to individuals in each department. I can’t recommend the credit union or the app highly enough. I rate it a twelve on a scale of one-to-ten!Show lessdaankelly
