I have been having the worst time with the app and overall G1B experience. I have been unable to reset my pin, password or access the website or mobile app on multiple occasions for the past 3 weeks. It has been more than annoying. For several years I have had to delete the app because it either acts glitchy or has malware which leads me to believe that my entire account is compromised. I’m not sure if anything can be done about this with the state of affairs and ongoing attacks from nefarious forces outside of G1. Everyone seems to be under attack from hackers and bad behavior like the Dark Angels stealing from Healthcare systems by holding their clients data hostage for a whopping $75 million. It makes you want to plant your money under your mattress or in a wall to say the least…

Although it performs its basic functions fine, It will only access so-called "primary" accounts. If you are like most numbers, you have multiple joint accounts and so to access your other accounts, you cannot use this app because it is only tied to the "primary" accounts. so for example, if you have a credit card account which is joint but not "primary", you must go login separately using your web browser to look at that account.! And from that account you cannot pay your credit card using funds in your open "primary" checking account, you must go back to the mobile app (or a separate login in your browser) then "push" the money from the primary account to the joint credit card. And while there is the ability to transfer from the mobile app to a non-primary account, it is only One Direction and you cannot see the balance in the other account from the mobile app. A few years ago when Golden 1 completely revamped its system it had promised to fix this. It didn't. Promised it would eventually fix it. It's been at least three years or more since then and they still have failed to fix it. This is a serious dysfunction for many members, but The Golden 1 which has become way too corporate doesn't seem to care.Show lessDeveloper Response

Update as of 6/8/24: The app for the most part no longer crashes upon login or when using the majority of functions within it for me now! Huge win! However, the Zelle function causes the app to immediately crash, and Zelle itself won’t let me use their app because I’m supposed to be able to use it through the G1 app. So y’know, tad bit frustrating when trying to pay for services that only will take Zelle or cash and cash isn’t an efficient option in that moment /: Nonetheless gonna bump it up to 3 stars instead of the previous lower rating I had given it, but only three due to the current, new issue. I adore G1 as a bank/credit union, and have no intention of ever changing since I myself or those close to me have horrors with just about every other bank in the region, but would love to have a fully functioning app again someday 😭😭
