Seat Geek is Bush League
Purchased MLB tickets through SeatGeek. The seats had a horrible obstructed view blocking first base, second base and left field. Since this was not disclosed at the time of purchase, I complained to SeatGeek and included photos. They refused to provide any support, claiming that the seats are not marked as obstructed on the app - and this is somehow gospel.
With a system like this in place, SeatGeek caters to unscrupulous sellers looking to dump bad seats on unsuspecting buyers. Not to mention, their customer service was a nonsense merry-go-round; no wonder SeatGeet closed their 1-888 customer support line - their business model caters to scammers.

Terrible way to get tickets
Seatgeek double sold my tickets. *GRANTED* I purchased my tickets two days before the event, i received an email telling me my tickets were confirmed and would be fulfilled 24-48 hours before the show. Come 7PM, (when the event began)I’m outside the venue, with no tickets, listening to the opening acts and unable to enter. Seatgeek informed me, ONLY AFTER i contacted support, that they couldn’t fulfill my tickets. At this point it’s 30 minutes after the show started. They told me they could replace my tickets with other CHEAPER tickets but wouldn’t refund the difference of the tickets, the difference being around 100ish bucks. On top of that, i had friends with tickets near mine, and had to sit across the entire venue. Also, the tickets offered as replacement were twice as

I was told that i could pick tickets worth %100 of my original price but when i asked for tickets that cost 30 bucks more and WERE NOT SOLD 45 MINUTES AFTER THE SHOW STARTED, I was told no. The only way i was able to get in was by requesting a full refund and buying new tickets. And i won’t be getting compensated for the 45-60 minutes of the show i missed.

A complete was of time
Using SeatGeek turned out to be a complete was of time. I got strung along for a few days thinking I would receive my tickets only to told hours before the event sorry your out of luck. Very disappointing experience, completely turned off from using online resale ticket services, these days everything is fake!
