    I guess they realized they had a gold mine of training content with the video messaging, tacked some AI nonsense onto the app, and now are training models from our messages. Neat! Was a fun messaging app to stay in contact with friends, but good things must come to an end.

    EULA: “You hereby grant Lloyd and its affiliated entities a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully-paid, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable (through multiple tiers of sublicensees), and transferable license to use, copy, distribute, transmit, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, and otherwise commercially exploit your Account Content, in any media format and through any media channels”

    PRIVACY: “The data collected is anonymized and aggregated before being used for model training purposes.”

We can assure you, your personal & account information, profile photo, video, photo or text messages are not shared with external third parties or were used or shared when using the Lloyd Video AI feature. Your privacy is important to us. You may also use Lloyd for free for your messaging as you did in the past with Glide. We hope to turn this around for you.   • I have I phone an Glide changed

    I’m not sure if Glide changed for everyone or just for I phone users but I absolutely hate this Lloyd app why did yall have to go and ruin a good thing??? Makes me so mad all my videos an everything I had in my favorites on the Glide version is no longer available on the knew Lloyd version!! I will be looking elsewhere to find something better thank this app!! Also I paid the $1.99 every 3 months for no ads and 10 minute videos instead of 5 now that it’s this stupid new app they wanna charge $5.99 a month I will not pay for that with this awful app

    Hi Southern Belle, we apologize for any confusion with the new Lloyd brand (prior Glide) that provides an optional AI subscription feature and the Favorite issue. You may continue to use Lloyd for free for your messaging as you did in the past with Glide. If you paid for the Lloyd Video AI subscription in error, please check your device's Settings to view all your App subscriptions to see if you need to cancel Lloyd Video AI. We just fixed the Favorites section so please ensure your Lloyd app is updated to the latest software version, then you will see your Favorite messages again.   • Why?????

    My friend and I use Glide every day but today we find out that its gone from our phonez. Confused, i go google what happened to glide, its not in the all store, and i find glide in google search to a click on it, and it brings up LLOYD. Who the hell is lloyd!? And why have we not been given a heads up. It kind of creeped me out to be honest.

  • No updates or support

    Many friends and I have been using Glide for years. No other app can compete with its format of communication (5 min videos that don’t expire), however Glide does not address issues or bugs and when you try to report bugs to them they will just gaslight you and blame your phone, they don’t seem to take the feedback into consideration and as a result users just have to get used to the bugs and quirks. Unfortunately at this point it has become just about unusable, I will be very sad to have to leave it behind but at this point we are wasting our time trying to record videos that won’t play or don’t have sound etc.

If using the free Glide app, the video & photo messages will expire after 14 days. So users need to save their content to their phone or pay for a subscription to have unlimited time. Hope this helps!
  • Used to be amazing - now crashes every time

    I have used and loved using this app for years. Now every time I open it, it crashes. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling and trying it on another device. Very disappointing.

    Hi, if you do not have Glide Premium, video and photo messages are deleted after 14 days of creation or being shared with a Glide user. Or you may save the needed videos and photos to your phone. Glide Premium allows you to have ad-free use of the app, cloud storage, to send up to 15 minutes of audio message and video message. You will have 90 days to try Premium for free- so you can decide within the 90 days if you wish to continue the subscription. Please send us an email to support@glide.me so we may assist you further.   • Insatisfaction of a short delay to delete the videos

    Too short to get off the videos and I will not use this app anymore.

    Thanks for your feedback! You will have up to 14 days for the free Glide storage of videos and photos. You may save any needed content to your phone. We suggest purchasing Glide Premium for ad-free use of the app, cloud storage, ability to send up to 15 minutes of audio or video message. To participate in Glide Premium navigate to your profile, and select "Glide Premium" to sign up for the 90 day free trial for either a 3 month or 1 year subscription.   • Can’t get verified to use it

    I’ve not yet used this app…I don’t know if it’s a glitch, but I’ve been trying and trying to verify my phone # so I can link contacts, but it won’t let me get past that page to finish creating an account. The app support button on here takes you to their website…their website takes you to the app…so ZERO help! UGH so frustrating! Hence the 1 star…it would be no stars if that was an option. If I can ever get in and be able to use it, maybe I could leave a better review…but this was the only place I could think to try and find help!!!
