This app works great. I wish there was native Airplay/Chromecast compatibility built in to enjoy this on the big screen. I know we can mirror our screens but between each video the connection disconnects.Phillysdon04

A Platform, but too many crashes
My friends and I use Glide EVERY SINGLE DAY to remain in contact. It is a very noninvasive way to be directly involved with friends and family. The only downside is over the past few months there have been a lot of glitches and crashes with the app. There are issues starting the recording function, which is quite annoying. Used to be fun- crashes non stop
The format of chatting is great, super convenient and fun, I can’t find another app that does this. However I worry about privacy and security so we try not to say anything personal which is inconvenient.
Support refuses to fix bugs, it has been crashing every time we use it for months and despite multiple attempts to report this to support it has gone unfixed. I know many people who use it so it’s not an issue with just one type of phone. We (my friends and I) will have to stop using it for now until they correct these frustrating issues.Show lessSpare51

switched over to this app from Marco Polo
pros very easy to use, has as filters (that we don’t really use ) you can send video messages share links or just pictures.
cons-crashes regularly and freezes up not sure if it is being updated regularly but I hope The feedback we provided to customer support leads to some changes because it always freezes to the point where you’re not able to click on the video chat to even leave a message

Reverse video
With my new iPhone since last December, Glide video won’t let me reverse view when I tried to click on upper right. It stopped video by self. I open Glide again and reverse view from front view before start a video. I was frustrated with it. My old Samsung mobile phone wasn’t a problem at all for several years. Absolutely love this app!
Wish it were less glitch, though. Wish that it wouldn't reset your place in a Glide (if you pause) so much. Overall it's amazing compared to other similar apps. I do wish we could play a Glide video while we downsize the app and do something else on our phone though.
