Thieves? Constantly “outstanding balance” after I’ve already paid?
This is so perplexing. I’ve never liked Careem, but in some countries that’s all the TAXI Service that exists. Constantly after I’ve already paid for a ride through their app, I go to book another one, and it says I have an outstanding balance. This never stops and I continually have to message them and ask why am I being charged for an outstanding balance when I’ve already paid for my rides. Then I get some message a few days later saying the driver took a poor route and they’re sorry and they’ll credit it. This just goes on and on like a circus. I’ve never had this with any other app. I feel like these people are so dishonest and unethical and unable to properly run this company. I hope there is some justice to this and they are made to discontinue this behavior.
Drivers take you FURTHER AWAY from your destination! Then they drop you off at the side of the road. An 8mn drive turned into 1 hour, and put me 23 minutes away from my location. And he decided to take the rush hour traffic route, and the car was dirty. He couldn’t find my pick up location either, or read the chat or see the photo I sent in the chat.Show lesstop casts

Why can’t the mapping be as good as Uber? Uber owns Careem so why is the mapping so terrible. Most of the time the little car on the map drives it lard in circles and goes crazy. And the timing of the pickup is awful. I have been waiting when the app tell me the driver is 8 minutes away despite the car being right in front of me !!! It’s hilarious. And, YES. I have updated the app.
Also, about 25% of the time the charge is significantly more than what the price agreed upon when booked. I always call my credit card and file a fraud complaint and every time get the entire ride credited. Visa and AmEx say this is fraudulent business practice because the price agreed upon when booking is the price that must be paid. I’ve complained to Careem but they don’t do anything.
So, I only use Uber now even if it’s more expensive. The Uber app is great. Customer service is excellent, Careem customer service is TERRIBLE. Save yourself a lot of time and effort and just use Uber. Careem is terrible.Show lessdickfong69

Please note that this app will absolutely have no problems sending you spam notifications about any promo or discount in one hour, it’s borderline harassment, Implement the status order notification, we don’t want your insulting spam promo notifications, it’s utterly unacceptable and cheap and annoying, if a person needs to know about these they can have a choice to switch promotional notifications on, if we don’t we should have the option to switch it off and only have order statues only. Greedy customers service as of recently too, the order was cancelled and the agent immediately said I’ll get a refund as Careem credit, didn’t even suggest the choice to send me my refund back to my card until I demanded, “but it will take 2 days” like what kind of mess is happening??? Restaurants that shut down are not updated, the menus and dishes are often not updated as well, but somehow they have every price drop of 1 aed item to send the notifications and spam your phone because they are so greedy and so toxic and drive people crazy Listen for once to the feedback you absolute greedy hags!Show lessLeonardoUAE
