The issue with text messages has been reported to our Development team and they are actively working towards a resolution. Waste of money
Each visit is $0.25 per minute whether the video/mic/speaker/connectivity works or not. So my loved one attempts a video call and within 5-10 seconds we can tell there is an issue so we hang up immediately. But I still get charged for a minute. And if my loved one KEEPS trying to video call because sometimes it takes a few tries before the system works properly, you done wasted $1 on attempts.
Reporting the “bugs” to the developers is a waste of time. I’ve reported in the midst of an attempt, immediately after a failed attempt and emailed them to complain of several failed attempts and I never heard back not even a week later.
The main problem is a delay; sometimes up to 20 seconds or so between the 2 parties. My loved one will talk and it’ll take forever before it reaches my end and vice versa. Making a real conversation in real time impossible. Other issues include sound cutting out on the prisoner’s side to where they can’t hear anything you say.
The video quality is “ok”, nice to be able to see my loved ones face. But the whole experience is infuriating, making these visits more of a pain than a blessing.
