Perfect
This is the app I’ve been waiting for.
It’s just the kind of app I’ve always needed, photos to inspire the creative thought process. It’s absolutely amazing.
The only thing is, it’s horrible at loading. Anytime I get a notification it never loads properly. I have to exit the app and refresh it and click in and click out and it’ll eventually load the new notification. But it’s a bit frustrating!Show lessitsmevictory

It’s all good besides one thing
I really think that having to add an inspiration for a drawing really limits people. For instance, sometimes my inspiration is just something that pops into my brain. I think that feature pushes away creators who produce surreal or abstract art. Pretty much pushes away all artists who create anything besides portraits.Show lessHolytroyler

Creative muses, an excellent art tool
Sktchy is great because individuals posting photos (the muses) are very creative and provide inspiring photographs for the Sktchy members who draw and paint. I find this app useful when I am stuck somewhere with no live subjects and I want to sketch. It’s also great for moments when you just want to warm up and make quick sketches.
