Excellent, Educational & Great Fun
I love this app as it is so easy to use and nearly always accurate, even abroad.
I particularly like it for identifying wild flowers when I am out walking my dogs. It is lovely to learn the names of flower you have known since childhood but not their names.

Amazing App..most accurate identification
I came to this app about 6 months ago after using several other paid apps.
PlantNet is an amazing app that provides the most accurate identification of plants of any I have tried. It is particularly good at recognizing the item in the foreground and identifying it. Really useful because there are often other plants in the background and it’s impossible to just only have the plant in question in the frame of the photo.

This app is amazing I love it so much! I love how I can take a picture and it just pops up it is so useful I use it everyday. This is one of the most brilliant apps I have ever used thank you so much. I’ve just told my mum and she’s going to download it. Amazing plant ID App
This app. is surprisingly good considering how difficult it is to separate some species. It will never be perfect as plants often do not separate neatly but form intermediate hybrids in many groups. Even genetic analysis struggles with groups like roses so within the limits of photo analysis this app is just amazing in how often is gives good predictions. One of the best Apps
Pl@ntnet is a very well run site. The team behind the mobile App are particularly helpful and responsive. There appears to be a considerable cohort of botanists, academics, horticulturists and enthusiasts who provide feedback to those who post. It is as far as I can tell unusual in that the app. can aggregate up to four observations to enable it to suggest an ID. The ‘Groups’ are a very useful feature in providing feedback to areas of interest of members. There are some perverse incentives for plants to be identified to species level when the images don’t show all the features that might be required and this may explain why some of the ‘library’ of images contains plants that don’t always appear to belong. The access to the image library is however invaluable. The easy links to Wikipedia and other resources is convenient.Show lessdavidhocken1

Great accurate App! So impressed!
I don’t ever write reviews for apps at all but I just had to for this one! I have been searching for an accurate informative plant id app recently and tried several different ones. I decided to test each app with plants I already own and know for sure what they are. One app after another ID’d every single plant wrongly, sometimes to a ridiculous level. I was gonna give up and then tried this one. Every single one of my known plants was identified correctly immediately! After so many failed apps I was so happily surprised with how accurate this one was and all the different information options there are available. Every single paid for app I tried was wrong but this free one managed to actually do its job and do it so well! I will always use this app going forward! Excellent job whoever created this app, it is so refreshing to have an advertised product actually do what it says it’s going to do without any lies, misrepresentations or manipulations in its advertising. Sad love this app but now it wont access my photos i have on my phone
I use to love using this app when i would get home from walks in the parks. I snap a bunch of pics on my walks and save them on my iPhone. Later, when i had time i would use the app using the pics on my phone. Now it is saying i didn’t give it access to my photos. So i rechecked. It only gives two options. None or Add photos only. I have Add photos only checked. So i did give it access. Unless that means something else now. Checked for updates there was one so i updated it. Still not letting me use the pics. Turned phone off and on, didn’t fix it. I looked in settings on my phone in photos and there are no options there. What happened? How do i fix this?Show lessmjbrin
