  • Good all

Works very well. Calorie counter is the lowest of any app or watch I tried. Would like to see the maps with full graphical details as an option instead of the 2d only. Workout history doesn't show the calorie counts and it should. It does show all the other useful info though.
  • Not Usable

I bought a Viiiiv in hopes of replacing my garmin 910. The Viiiiv is a great HRM, very comfortable and seems to work as well as or better than the garmin HRM.

The app on the other hand is nothing more than a demo. There are two major problems that have made this app unusable. 1. The GPS is not turned on automatically. You have to start the GPS and start your workout separately. 2. Workouts are not automatically saved and there is no pause. Both of these have caused me to lose my data from my workout.

On top of the 2 major flaws, the app is not very usable. You have to connect to the HRM every time you start the app and then start the gps and then start the run. It takes way too long. Also there aren't any real features other than showing you the instantaneous data.

  • Crash

Not ready for prime time, would fail to connect @ start up every other time. App crashes upon log in from time to time.
  • My Viiiiva Stopped working after this update!!!!

I have just updated to the latest version of the 4iiii app and my Viiiiva is not longer working!!!!

The 4iiii app is able to pick up the Viiiiva HRM via Bluetooth but crashes when it tries to connect. I have deleted and reinstalled the 4iiii app but no success. The 4iiii app still shuts down when trying to connect.

I am not able to use my Viiiiva HRM now! Not even with other apps such as Strava.

    Please assist.

  • It is a start

The app itself is totally utilitarian. I only have teh Viiiiva HRM and do not have Sportiiiis HUD, so I can not comment on that. For the HRM, you can check the basic bluetooth pairing and then get a live display, but that is it. No recording, not uploading sessions to online sites etc.

The Viiiva HRM is a great concept, allowing you to bridge ANT+ sensors with BlueTooth 4 (BTE) (and smartphone such as the iPhone 4S or 5). But none of the other sports apps out there really support the hardware yet. If all you want is heart rate, then many apps like Digifit, Strava etc. will work. But they all seem to bog down on simultaneously supporting heart rate, speed cadence and power. Until all of that comes together, this is not really living up to it's potential.

  • Fantastic app and technology from 4iiii Innovations!

I can finally pass through all the data from my ANT+ sensors via BLE to my phone! Quite a nice app interface as well.
  • Works perfectly with my Sportiiiis and VIIIIVA!

This is a great way to set up my 4iiii stuff. It's much better than using a laptop because I can set it up anywhere!
