It’s Never Updated
I have had this app for three years and do not recall that it has ever been updated. I agree with others who say it is severely limited in what it can do still It just keeps getting further and further behind other thermostat manufacturers.wally10658
Won't run on iPhone
1.1.1 now doesn’t run in IOS 12.1.4
1.1.1 still crashing under IOS 10!
Will install but not run under iOS 9.3.5 or iOS 10

Basic control
I agree with those who say this app offers only basic controls of the thermostat. I’m glad to have that well enough — it is indeed nice to control the temp from anywhere and even turn on the energy saver. But we should be able to update the programming, too, and even set the desired humidity. The desktop app also is shockingly as basic. Why can’t the app be the same as that on the in-home thermostat itself? I see other reviews go back years here; is there never an update coming?Show lessnahho

Time to catch-up with your competitors
While this application does provide the ability to control basic capabilities for your thermostat, it is lagging on functionality and capability against companies I.e Honeywell that have integration into home automation apps.
The support when I called the 1-800 Support number was abrupt and was told to reboot my router. Lasted less than 20 sec, not very helpful.
So suggest it is time to either get out of this business or upgrade this application as the ability for rich functionality and integration into home automation is key!Show lessGary and Sue
App doesn't work more than it does
The app has not been working for over a week, that is after numerous attempts to troubleshoot. This happens far more what's acceptable for an app.
Even if app is up and working, it is basic at best. I have older appliances with apps that are light years beyond Comfort Sync's functionality/features.
Pretty disappointed to think of what we paid for this new HVAC system and it's "Nest rival" smart app. In one year we've had to have repairman come out to service 5 times. Each time we dealt with malfunctioning and the last time a non functioning AC.

Like getting dial up internet in 2017
I don't really understand why it doesn't have more features. My 6 year old Honeywell app has tons more features for a thermostat that doesn't have near the capabilities of this new comfort sync and was a fraction of the cost. I will be looking for another HVAC controller.Lanras

Just installed new Allied Air 4SHP system with communicating air handler and zone controller. System is very impressive and App works flawlesslyTJP249
Good but could be better
The features programmed into the app work well. I am giving 3 stars because the functionality is basic - mainly adjusting the temperature or enabling/disabling the "away" mode. I believe improvements should be made for additional stars. For example, users should be able to view and edit schedules, view energy consumption, and manage additional settings like the background picture and brightness. Additionally, I believe Armstrong should consider partnering to integrate with Apple HomeKit.Show lessBob301828
Crashes under iOS 10
This application is not working under iOS 10 and just crashes after second or two. Now main future of internet connectivity is not working making system useless or expensive wall decoration.
This will make me thing twice buying this brand.dvdpl
