Fantastic for beginners
I know a bit of basic Sinhala and have been trying to find an online resource to help me practice and improve. I tried a few apps but this one was by far the best! Simple, easy, and you can open a pack of new words every day. You can do slideshows to listen in the background or record yourself saying the words to check and also playing the words slowly. If you’re learning to read in Sinhala I think it would be a useful way to practice too because it uses Sinhala script as well as English (I’m not that far yet!) I like how it repeats over and over and over as much as u like because this is a hard language for me. I also like the hands free and that you can see it written in English and Sinhala. I also like that it will still play even if you aren't in the app itself you can close the app and check email or something and it will still play!Show lessSydney Silver
Great app
I downloaded this app because my family and I are going to Sri Lanka later this year, and I wanted to get a head start on the language. I'm still learning basics, but I think it's a great app. It really keeps me motivated and the reminders help me to remember to do a bit everyday. I haven't upgraded to the full version yet, but will definitely consider it if I get on well with the free version. Fully recommended.Show lessLStorey
