Note: this is a subscription based app and you will be charged over again every month although this is not mentioned anywhere. There is a lot of pressure to upgrade but it's not worth it. The capabilitis of the app are pretty limited.

Froze my entire phone if I wanted to play music

Great app, too many technical issues. During my trial period, anytime I tried to play music, it froze the app and then shut down my phone.

I contacted support, they said to uninstall the app and re download. I did it a few times and each time it didn't work.

I tried it again with the update, I was probably about 25% through the workout (with the music finally working) when someone called me. The workout didn't pause even though the pause during calls was TURNED ON, then when I skipped back to where I was, and tried to press play for the music, it froze, shut down, then wouldn't come back on. I tried to delete and redownload it, but it wasn't loading. I had to turn off my phone, do a soft reset, and turn it back on.

Basically every time the app stops working, I have to reboot my phone. And when I do that, it deletes my workout data. For the amount of money paid, you'd think there'd be a cloud associated with your account so that when there are technical difficulties, it doesn't delete all your progress.

The work out programs are great, I prefer them to the couch potato to 5k, but it doesn't reliably work and I have never had the app work throughout the entire work out.

I would love to buy the full version, but I am afraid it would be a huge waste of money since I can't get it to work for a full 40 minutes.

Awesome app really enjoying the workouts

Excellent App

This app is great for runners old and new. Using its programme, combined with healthy eating I've lost 13kg (28lb) this year, can now run a half marathon with ease and setting my sites on the full marathon. Not only does it help you shed those kgs, I'm now fitter than ever before improving my running speed from an average of 6min/km down to 5-4:50/km.

Good for new/old runner

Using this app to get back into running after many years. I've never subscribed to a walk run method to get better at running but I am literally like I have never run before so anything that helps. I am slowly seeing progress on the start running program - also don't mind the water reminders

Used to be good

The last version was great. Unfortunately the new version tries to be too intuitive. You get notifications 5 times a day telling you to drink water (even on your off days). Also the workouts are based on a calendar rather than having a list of the workouts (as in the old version), so if you haven't run for a few days it's very hard to find the right workout to repeat. Rather your workout will be even more demanding than your last- progression is great but sometimes you need to be in control of the rate of progress.


Rollback to last version! It was great.

Motivation

What an awesome app! Feels like the personal trainer on the app is running with you, pushing you to achieve my exercise. Telling me how fast/ slow I'm running, calories I'm losing, and km that I covered over time. This just gave me more motivation and something to look forward to in my next workout. And this maybe small to some, but I really like the reminders during the day to take my glass of waters! Makes a difference to a healthier lifestyle 😁 Loving this journey 😎

Awesome App

I love this app! The latest improvement which allows you to choose your training days really helps! The timely reminders to drink water is also helpful and I haven't yet but plan to start using the yummy recipes! A definite thumbs up! It's great to motivate you to get out there and it builds gradually do you can see your progress!
