  • Function without form for repeat users.

    Seems odd that basic functionality of favourite venues and favourite orders is missing.
    Isn’t even a function to re-order a previous order. Yeah it’s pretty but can you work on making it actually useful ?
    As another review states, it’s functional and gets the job done but is a long way from the smooth user experience of Hey You and Skip.

  • Took my money and not my order

    So, I ordered a burger from my new favourite burger joint. I was told on my previous purchase to use this ordering platform “ Bopple” to order in advance. So I ordered and paid for my food only to find my order wasn’t found. I am, on the other hand able to write this review whilst waiting for my food. Bopple, congratulations for the this one star review. Thankfully the burgers are great and the staff are awesome.

  • Makes a simple thing hard

    Ordering takeaway is a chore using Bopple.
    The app doesn’t tell you accurately when the order is ready, so have frequently rung the restaurant to check it’s ready for collection to find out it has been for 20min.
    The order payment / processing back-end fails frequently with a message that your payment has gone through and to contact the restaurant to check your order. The order hasn’t been sent to the restaurant. This has happened at least 5 times to me.
    Too frequently, the app will say you need to “schedule a time” when choosing asap. In those instances, I ring the restaurant instead.
    Which from all of the above, leaves me ringing the restaurant and avoiding Bopple wherever I can.

  • Simple app, does the job, not as good as many others

    Bopple is a simple app, with an even more simple UI. It gets the job done, but only just, and is leagues behind its competitors. To be clear, I don’t know how the Bopple service works on the cafe side, I’m assuming that it’s simple and cheap. On the customer side it’s lacking some more standard functionality that the competition has as standard. There is no loyalty functionality (e.g. buy 9 drinks get the 10th free), maps and directions are not embedded, there is no widget, and payment is by Credit Card only, no option for Apple Pay, Pay Pal, etc. The biggest positive here is the app can only get better.

  • Annoyingly inconsistent tapping locations

    So first select the item from menu, then tap “Add to order” at the BOTTOM of the screen.
    Once the item is selected, tap the red dot 🔴TOP right side of the screen.
    For payment, tap the bar at the BOTTOM of the screen.
    As far as I remember, next option is to tap the TOP side of the screen.
    Why can’t you make it easier and quicker to order by enabling users to consistently tap one same location of the screen, instead making a finger move up-and-down up-and-down? It’s annoying and inconvenient.

  • Incompetent app

    I really wanted to like Bopple however unfortunately this app didn’t deliver (literally). The order went through successfully and that is where it ended. I received a notification that the order was out for delivery.. after waiting an hour and half i tried to contact the restaurant to find out what was happening.
    The app doesn’t include any contact links to the restaurants which would be a useful feature. To be fair the restaurant/bar in question doesn’t actually have a public phone number which I would have thought would be necessary for a place offering delivery. In the end i drove to the venue where it turns out the food had been sitting around waiting for almost 2 hours!
    The app seems to be incomplete. Receiving a notification that the food was out for delivery when it had never left the venue, combined with the lack of tracking and the inability to contact the restaurant does leave the impression that it was not thought through or properly developed. I have filled out the contact us form and not received a response.
    I like the idea of Bopple but sadly would recommend NOT to waste your time or money as a customer. For local business I would highlight that poor experiences with delivery (or no delivery at all!) also taints their reputation as well.

  • Do not use - took payment with no service

    Ordered through the app on Saturday night, waited ages and ended up calling the restaurant - turns out the order was never received by the restaurant as they no longer use Bopple. The money has been taken out of my account and the app says ‘Completed’ even though it was never fulfilled through Bopple. Really frustrating as there is nowhere on the app or email you receive to cancel or report an issue to prevent this happening!! Would not recommend Bopple.

  • lacks functionallity

    App does not all to pickup next day. Products are shown without descriptions that are built in back end.
  • Order rejected

    Placed an order Bopple replied order accepted ready by ASAP time and paid
    Went to pick up order to find order rejected out of stock Why after it has been paid ?
    Received message order has been reimbursed
    Checked bank 2 hrs later has not been reimbursed, Times are tuff now with COVID 19 without mounting credit
    Last time a mistake was made it took four days for money to come back into my account Surely you can have the app check stock at vendors before taking money

    Hi snufgy. We're sorry to hear you had this bad experience when using the app. We encourage our venue partners to mark items as out-of-stock to prevent these situations. It is rare, but sometimes the venue may need to reject an order after it has been submitted. Refunds are initiated immediately when this happens but it can take a few days for refund to complete (it depends on the banks). If you message us on help@bopple.me with some order details we'll reach out to the venue and ensure they know how to manage their online menu.   • Fantastic app

    Great app for ordering takeaway to pick up from places nearby. Remembers my regular coffee order so I don’t need to add the details every time, and allows multiple payment methods. Is very convenient to order and pay while walking to the venue so that it’s ready to go when you arrive.
