Overall a perfect game

Overall I would say this is probably the best games I’ve ever played besides Fortnite. There are a few things I would like to recommend. I personally don’t like that it takes soooo long to upgrade your furnace when it won’t even add that much heat to your town/city I also think it would be nice if the ice fishing was useful for more than just the tournaments. I love the ice fishing and think it’s super fun to do but I hate when I don’t get in the tournament and can’t do it anymore for a while🥲 ok now the stuff I think should be added. I think the steel mine should put out more per min. I have usually 2 men in each of the coal mine, steel mine, hunters hut, 1 in the hospital, 2 in the food court and 2 in the lumber yard and the one that makes the least per min is the steel mine. I can’t figure out why and I always need so much steel for stuff like upgrading my warriors or my furnace, ect but never have enough or I will have very little once I’m done upgrading the thing leaving me to have to wait a few more hrs just to get a couple hundred thousand which is not a lot compared to the few million in the other things. Other than that I think this is a awesome game I started playing a few months ago and I’m loving it

Great game but they will try to get you to spend money

I would have rated this 5 stars if it were not for the fact the game’s developers haven’t dealt in good faith, in my opinion. You earn higher VIP levels but in order to use the benefits on a temporary basis, you have to purchase packs (you can spend “gems”, which is a form of in-game currency but that is not a viable long term solution). You do what is required to reach a certain level but you only get some of the benefits for the first 24 hours for free.

This, to me, is a bad faith move and leaves that metaphorical bad taste. If you earn something, you should be able to reap the benefits. I understand they have to make money but one doesn’t “bait” you with an apparent reward only to find out you can only receive the reward as long as you pay up on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, which is a switch on their part, in my opinion.

My issue is they were not open and transparent about this at the beginning by informing you will have to pay them in order to enjoy something you have otherwise earned. I asked them how do I unlock all the benefits on a permanent basis but all they replied is to read the directions in the VIP section but there is nothing in there that says you can permanently unlock all the benefits on a permanent basis. That is another issue I have with them.

Designed for you to throw hundreds even thousands of dollars to win…

This game is really great. You and hundreds of other people essentially act as if you are countries at war with treaties and alliances, using politics in every situation. The perfect example of a strategy game. However, people will go thousands of dollars in debt just to wreck the entire server with little to no consequences, you can’t just get better, the only thing you can do is throw money at a phone screen. In the end it’s just who pays the most who comes out on top. This is the one flaw that takes this great game and turns it into a one star for me. After a while of being in a server it just becomes toxic and whomever pays the thousands of dollars then essentially becomes the governor of the server. You’ll love this game until it “forces” you to pay to actually stand a chance. Again the developers did a great job but the pay to win aspect ruins this. And it wouldn’t be fair for whomever has to read this not to get a suggestion to fix this. My proposal would be servers at which you can’t spend out of game currency to get further ahead in the game. Until that happens I will not be touching this game again.

Not like the commercials, but still good

It’s very much like guns of glory or some other game like that. In my state we have come up with rules that keep people from becoming bullies from those who are pay-to-win and free-to-play. You get plenty of rss so no need to attack other people for them. The side event such as foundry battles even as a job for every level of player.

If you do bully other players in your state it will make your state week and every 2 weeks you will have to challenge another state. If your state is weak then you WILL lose.

Due to the lack of bullying from the pay-to-win this is the first time I’ve ever paid to play, but not to get stronger, just because I like the cute skins on my castle.

Personally I don’t attack anyone unless it’s a kill every and in our state #2024 we can’t hit a castle in an alliance if it is already burning. Attacks on rss is just fine and encouraged. As your alliance gets stronger you can join a group that makes up the rules and be apart of the “knights of the round table” also you can’t attack alliance structure during kill event. Good place to hide your troops.

If you are creative you will find ways to enjoy the game no matter your level and they are always coming out with new stuff the longer that you play.

A lot of people have many accounts in other states as well as the one that I am in. I have only been playing for 2 months and I am already almost to lv 26. First time ever I have made it this far.

You are not Allowed to Have a Life

I have worked really hard building my city, checking in with the game multiple times a day, PAYING with in game currency to start my own alliance just to have it stolen from me with no help from the developers. I had life happen to me like all people do and within 5 days (less than a full week) my alliance was transferred from me to a lesser member due to “inactivity”. This is complete trash and I never would’ve started playing this game again nor would I have payed to start an alliance had u been told this could happen. The developers/support team have been unresponsive and when they do this to you they don’t even refund the currency you initially paid to start the alliance. They asked me to send them proof of what happened and they haven’t said anything since I sent it to them. I want my alliance back immediately. Apparently, you aren’t allowed to have a bad week, a hard time at work, or enjoy the Christmas holiday with your family. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME. They only want your time and money and don’t care about your in game experience. They are now advertising in game about being an influencer for them. Well, I’m going to work to become a de-influencer regarding this game. I’m going to make sure as many people as possible DON’T download this game. What a total slap and spit in the face. I’m contemplating deleting the whole game at this point. This has completely ruined my experience and nobody is taking this seriously. GARBAGE!

fake games

We are not playing a game; this is a meticulously crafted script. Every game server follows the same pattern. Game "plants" (fake players) have been lurking in active alliances from the start. Their combat power isn’t high, but they are exceptionally enthusiastic. Once they’ve blended in and earned everyone’s trust, they begin to stir up trouble by provoking conflicts between alliances. They intentionally incite wars and create crises, making players feel constant pressure and fear, which pushes them to spend money.

However, your spending journey has just begun; it never ends. These "plants" will gradually sift through and draw active players into the same alliance, where paying players are exposed to even bigger spenders. Non-paying players, on the other hand, are made to feel the pressure to spend. This cycle repeats itself until players finally grow tired and weary of the wars. By then, the server grows quieter, and no one talks in world chat anymore. At this point, those "plants" move on to the next new server.

One more thing—ever wonder why these "plants" have low levels? It’s because they manage multiple servers simultaneously. They don’t have time to level up with you! Wake up, players! Don’t let yourself be deceived by these shameless Chinese gaming companies. They have no faith or principles; all they see is money. They are demons!

Amazing Game, But Could Be More Free-to-Play Friendly

I’ve been playing Whiteout Survival for over a year now, and I absolutely love it! The game has a great balance of strategy, survival mechanics, and team collaboration. Nothing like the ads, which should be updated. The events are creative and engaging, especially the new Christmas Festival and Jolly Marble event. I really enjoy the plinko-style game—it’s a unique touch that makes the holiday season feel even more festive!

That said, I wish there were more ways for free-to-play players to fully participate in events without feeling the need to purchase items. I’m someone who occasionally spends on things I really want, but I also appreciate when games cater to players who can’t or don’t want to spend money. A few extra free rewards or ways to earn items like marbles in events would go a long way in keeping the experience enjoyable for everyone.

Overall, Whiteout Survival is an incredible game that keeps me coming back day after day. The community, events, and gameplay make it one of the best mobile games I’ve ever played!

Fun for only a few days

I finally gave in and downloaded the game after seeing all the mobile game ads plaguing my phone. I will admit, although it’s not really like the ads, it is fun- for like 3 days. Upgrading your town and keeping your survivors happy while hunkering down for the storms was motivating and entertaining. However, that aspect of the game drops off after only a few days when you max out all the buildings your survivors are in and storms suddenly stop happening. The focus of the game shifts to the battles, state vs state, and pay to win upgrades for your heroes that you collect. I wanted to give it a fair shot and kept playing for another week or so but man am I bored. The whole reason I’m sure most people downloaded the game for is quickly abandoned. If you’re looking for a ville style game where you can interact with the needs of your townspeople this is not it. For the developers- either make your ads more realistic to what the game is actually about OR implement ad gameplay as a larger part of the real game.

If your new to this..

I been playing about maybe a year now and notice that this game is very competitive and will take a long time for you to build up your base and sometimes i would spend some money which i wish i hadn’t but thinking about it some stuff was useful like the extra slot space for the construction and maybe other stuff too but if your new and your thinking about spending money on here, be sure to get something that will be permeant and not stupid stuff like buying speed ups and trying to be powerful bc in the long run, they’re will always be someone more powerful so best to pop that shield when getting attacked by them. This game is pretty fun especially the people you meet when joining alliances, but the only downside to this is that it will get boring and tiring with the daily challenges. It would be really nice if the devs can change it up every once in a while. Other than that tho, hope whoever is reading this has fun and have a great day as well.

DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME!

Simply sad, if you have money to throw out in the drain, this is a game for you. But, not as simply, be ready to spend enormous amount if you want to get items in this one. This game is milking all the money playing on players’ ego. Many games have fixed prices for items, like skins, heroes, etc. This one has not. You can spend hundreds of dollars in an event to get a city skin, and you can finish among top 10 to get the skin when the event is done, but they add 24 hours on top of that, so people with extra cash can kind of bid to take the top 10 spots. This is not supposed to be Ebay, or some gambling game. You can spend couple of hundred dollars just for a pixelated city skin. That is absurd, and if you earn your money, you will understand that. If you use your parents money, then it is on them, lol. Yes, you can play without spending a dollar, too, but when you see how all the others progress at extreme speed and you are left in the dust, either you will open your wallet (ego issue), or delete the game (so better do not even start). I was one of those, but when 100$ plus 1000+ speed ups, 300k in game diamonds did not earn me a city skin, even that I was 8th after the regular time of the even, I deleted the game. More that 100$ for Few pixels on the screen that are decoration and not even helping you in the game is crazy.
