Downgrade from the old app
Installing this app you won’t be able to quickly transfer your digimon from the old app quickly, you have to manually transfer one at a time which is very tedious and time consuming plus there’s a deadline of March 13th 2023. If you want to dedicate the time to transfer go ahead but at this rate I feel like I have to start brand new since I have about 40 digimon I would need to transfer.
The battle system is even more lackluster then before, the UI is simple yet lacking any other features and there previously was, it takes awhile to get to where you need to when opening the app since there’s a lot of loading times and it’s really annoying choosing what bracelet I have with what series everytime.
This is a very disappointing experience since it was previously pretty solid with room to grow but this takes a mile step back.

The ui is a pain to look at with the solid bright colors. Constantly needs to load. No full support for vital hero (no special missions, no tamer ranking, digimon stats don’t match up correctly).
Make CPU battles selectable in events
It takes so long to connect to somebody. Then it is annoying to have to wait for the other player to finish their turn. PVP battles last so much longer than CPU battles.
Badly needs a real update
You could probably increase your English speaking fan base if you would actually support the things you release for us. Releasing the vital hero for English speaking countries only to have it replaced with the BE bracelet the very day you announced VH.
And now you’re going to drop support for VB labs effectively making all Vital Hero’s bracelets 30 or so percent less effective.
I even miss the way battles looked on Labs with the cool looking graffiti.
For the love of God, please just hire five more developers or so and get this app actually working the way it should. There should not be loading screens after every thing we tap on.
And honestly, feels like you guys are just grabbing the loose change you find in your couch cushions, and putting that toward this franchise.
Please just show you care? Where’s your honor? Fix this!

Nowhere near an upgrade
This app is insanely downgraded from the Vital Lab and most of the reviews cover what I came to say.
Aside from those points, since the upgrade to this app and the Vital Bracelet BE, the original Vital Bracelet is pretty much toast. I lost my OG Vital Bracelt for almost a year and found it December 2022. What I’ve come to find is it’s impossible to digivolve any of my mons now because the new app is catered to the new evolution system. Can’t use any of the items in my VB lab and I need battles to evolve but in the new app my only option is free battle and practice battle which gives me zero stats. Also I’m constantly matched against megas in free battle which makes it impossible to win.

Improvements
It had a really rough start out the gate but as they’ve been improving on the app and the tech I’ve been pretty happy with the app so far and am excited to see where they go with it. The ability to select your bracelet type is easy, loading and unloading digimon works good, I’ve yet to have any of the issues most people are complaining about and while it’s not perfect it’s definitely on its way and while i do wish it would progress faster, i dont feel the need to review bomb it especially since it’s primarily an assisting app to the vital bracelets themselves. It’s getting better little by little and it’s a great place to store my hard earned digimon, anything more is honestly just a bonus.

Slow and buggy
I can’t get in a battle, it takes forever to load anything, and it’s unresponsive to my touch. This app is so much worse than VB lab. It just bad. Battling is now boring and sluggish compared to quick and a little fun in the VB lab app.
Too many eggs in one basket.
The original lab wasn’t perfect, but at least you could do missions, track your characters, and heck even have fun borders for your profile.
This app just put all the properties in one location and robbed a fair part of their original applications and turned into well, this.
I was really enjoying playing, collecting, and battling on the original app, this one, since it’s soul purpose is just fighting, it takes away the magic Digital Monsters has, and boils it down to such a basic form that it’s not worth even installing.

Bandai-Namco does not want success.
This app is disappointing at best.
All Digimon consumers wish that Bandai just updated the original VB Lab app instead of creating a whole new one. The fact that we have to now transfer all of our Digimon from the old app to the new one, One by one, is ridiculous. Furthermore, the “Codex” does not even take our former evolutions into account so there are a bunch of holes in the directory.
Plus I transferred a few of my favourites over from

I cant find a single review over two stars but i thought “you know what ill try it anyway” it cant even start and its pathetic on top of what everyone else has reviewed
