One step forward two step back
The only thing good about the app is battles are a bit more engaging with a counting system however everything else is worse than the last app they made no more special mission no more themes no more raids pvp only overall pretty awful
FINISH YOUR APP BEFORE YOU RELEASE IT
Stop asking me which product I have! I told you when I opened the app for the first time. I shouldn’t need to select which Vital Hero I own EVERY SINGLE TIME I open the app! Fix your loading times, they are ABYSMAL even for simple things like connecting the Vital Hero to the app. The old app did it in less than a second, why does it take this one FIVE!? WHY DOES THE INFO SCREEN NOT TELL ME WHICH DIGIMON MY DIGIMON EVOLVED FROM!? Show me the evolution line I took! Give me daily stats like the old app! I get NO info from the “press for more details” option other than current points! WHY ARE THE ICONS FOR TROPHIES AND BATTLES DIFFERENT IN THE APP THAN ON THE VITAL HERO!? It’s confusing! FIX AND UPDATE THE APP OR DELETE THIS ONE AND LET ME GO BACK TO THE ONE THAT WORKED!!!!!! WHAT ON EARTH IS WRONG WITH YOU, BANDAI!?

Absolute Garbage
This is a bare bones, glitchy piece of crap that barely functions. I have had to delete and reinstall this app twice and keep losing data because of it, all because my phone screen went dark during ‘updates’, although what is actually being updated is never specified. The PvP system is terrible and, if you try anything other than Practice mode, you have a high probability of getting hacked and all you’re progress deleted. Which doesn’t mean much, as none of the progress actually made from VBs or BEs is recorded, only whatever mons you’ve stored is. As much as I love Digimon, and loved the VB and VB Lab, I cannot stress enough that the VB Arena is a poorly made, barely functional mess made by incompetent, corner-cutting greedy idiots who couldn’t care less about their product or the fans of their series. My advice is to simply not waste your time on this, or anything else Bandai Namco produces, as it will undoubtedly have the same lack of care and effort put into its design.

App Breaking Glitches (Edit)
Without Bandai ID account backup, if you run into one of the app breaking issues then you essentially lose all the Digimon you transferred over from the old app. It is very sad to see that there is not just a transfer of data from the old app. The battles are cooler but they take too long and have major glitches in them that start infinite loops.
It has been out for a while now and the Digimon from the old app have been stuck in an infinite load screen in the Vital Bracelet Series: Digimon section. They keep fixing “Minor Glitches” once ever week or so, but the MAJOR glitches are not being fixed. Unacceptable how terrible this app is.

Disappointing and Oversimplified
Arena took a really solid system and watered it down to a boring “haha attack” type game. The character labs had missions, items to assist in battles, and a much better soundtrack in my opinion. If they could at least bring back missions or items, it would be worth playing, but right now it feels like an alpha test. I hope it can improve with time, but to go from an interactive app that felt connected to the bracelet, it was fun. Additionally, the new app doesn’t support special missions, something the VITAL BRACELET HAS AS A FEATURE. It is really frustrating to see something so unique get thrown away and turned into a boring and lackluster version. The only thing that slightly redeems it is the introduction of dual battles. It is a neat mechanic featured on the old DIGIMON tamogatchi toys that carries over nicely. However this does not change the fact that the labs were fun and unique, and this feels like a half a**ed attempt at saving costs with no regard for the fans.

Soul-less and full of bugs
It been about a year now and the app still have no personality to it and it filled to do many bugs that the app will just crash for no reason they shouldn’t have released this app in the state that it’s in

Just update the old app Bandai this app trapped my digimon in it it took almost an hour to get them back out this Is not acceptable
Lost all my digimon
The App worked fine until I transfer my own digimon over then it won’t load my data anymore no matter how many times I restart the app and install it, wasted my time working for them all for nothing just to be stuck in an endless loading screen for hours
Getting there
So with another update some issues have been solved. Which is a good thing especially since they were BIG issues (losing all data). And they Finally added in the ability to bind your acct, providing some peace of mind if something goes wrong. However a huge issue still exists… The ability to transfer data from the digidex on the lab app to the codex to the arena app and the ability to transfer items. And are tamer levels worth anything anymore? If you’re going to end up forcing us to move to this app, we should not have to lose everything we’ve done up till then. I haven’t even been training any mons cuz of this.
So for the love of god, do a carry over.
