not very goood

i was going to use freeform to make a design board for my new bedroom. it did not work at all.

Mediocre at best

Using the app for writing notes and planning at University. The app keeps crashing every couple of minutes, when wanting to take a photo with the camera I need to press the camera option twice since the first press opens it briefly and immediately closes which is frustrating when it happens often and when navigating around then page it is very slow and takes quite some time to load my notes, and it has at times crashed after a couple of minutes of navigating around the page. Hoping they fix these issues soon since I had high expectations of this app after buying my new iPad.

Fun

I love this thing!

Glitches are common in Freeform!

An amazing app that was developed for creative people! Freeform has oodles of POTENTIAL to make amazing art with a unique style & by using a variety of different techniques & mediums, as well as it’s relatively simple style & it’s also very interactive too! Freeform is truly unique!
BUT… it doesn’t work properly for me! The glitches are not fun & they happen too often! For starters, the app sometimes won’t even open! & in the middle of my work, it’ll just randomly shut down or freeze & when I go back in to open it, I see I’ll have lost some of, or all of my work! It’s frustrating & I don’t bother using it very much because of this!
So, to the Apple support team & the Freeform app developers out there - I ask you to please do something about this issue! It would be great if we could all use this amazing app! Don’t you think? It’s too good to waste, but it’s way too annoying to enjoy as long as these glitches go unfixed!

Ok but can be improved

It has infinite canvas and can edit all fine, but it’s glitchy and moved my notes around so I had to rearrange them.

Very, very fun

You can draw stuff you can write stuff. It’s wonderful. This review is kind of pointless because most people know what you can do, but I feel like it was worth to mention how this entertained me instantly when I was bored.

Beryllium

Beryllium is one of the most remarkable elements due to its exceptional combination of lightness, strength, and thermal stability. It is lighter than aluminum yet six times stiffer than steel, giving it an unparalleled strength-to-weight ratio. This makes it essential in aerospace and defense applications, where reducing weight without compromising durability is crucial. Beryllium’s non-magnetic nature and excellent heat conductivity further enhance its versatility, making it perfect for advanced electronics and space technologies.

In addition to its physical properties, beryllium plays a critical role in science and medicine. It is used in X-ray machines to improve image quality and in the mirrors of the James Webb Space Telescope to maintain stability under extreme conditions. Beryllium’s ability to produce high-quality neutron beams also supports cutting-edge research in nuclear physics. Whether in satellites, fighter jets, or medical devices, beryllium’s unique properties make it indispensable to modern technology, earning it a place as one of the most valuable elements on the periodic table.

Great Features, Bad Usability, Crashes Frequently

The app has decent features that make notetaking much easier than most alternatives. The app (beyond issues I will get into) is relatively easy to use, with intuitive writing tools and utensil options as well as a decent interface. I can go into more detail, but its nothing that has not already been said.

Where my issues lies is in its optimization. I have a relatively new 9th generation iPad that supposedly should run smoothly with the app, but the app crashes extremely often. When in use over a period of an hour, the app crashes between 4 to 6 times, and on some instances this happens without input from me and without warning. Like I said, I use this app for taking notes, and it takes 2 whole minutes to reboot all the way back to my board. It is crucial time missed. A related issue is that the app occasionally freezes while zooming in/out at certain parts while it tries to load writing in. This issue is most apparent

While there may be a solution to this issue, the fact that the issue exists and is so potent is such an enormous oversight on part of the developers. I have not had this much issue with anything even remotely related to drawing, yes I understand this is partly because this is backed to the cloud, that doesn't help the problem. I recommend Adobe Fresco or Collanote instead.
