No Dark Mode?

Sad Dark Mode isn't available Day 1. Should be standard on all new apps at this point. Is it coming soon?

Not a great start.

All this time beta testing and they still can't launch an app without problems. I ran into problems with zooming, lagging Apple pencil support, iCloud integration issues.

The zooming issues happen when you zoom in and half the canvas remains un-rendered, instead it's just grey. Any activity will bring it back, but it doesn't bode well for the future of the app.

Then there is the noticeable lag when using the Apple pencil. I use an iPad Pro 12.9" 2021 with that has 16Gb to work with, so it ain't slow and it ain't running low on resources. The pencil stroke lags behind the pencil as though it's working on a 30Hz screen. I've not seen this as a problem on apps like Concept or Procreate, so what gives Apple.

Then there is the iCloud integration problem, where it keeps asking for the user to be logged in to iCloud even if they are currently logged in. Again this smacks of Beta quality software, not something we expect from a headline product released after months of testing and development.

As for the UI, it's not like Apple worked hard to do it, so people stop crowing about the slick interface, it's nothing new.

Finally, I wish they'd do something about the app icon, as it looks like it was a contest from a Sunday School group.

Solid app, needs optimising

Great app, I have been using it for map drawing inn my m1 iPad Air (5th gen). However it needs optimising for large projects. Constant frame drops, crashes on large projects with many objects and general bugs. This app has great potential and I deeply enjoy using it, except the performance issues does make me wish to see it improve.

Itโ€™s good, but itโ€™s collaboration potential is hindered

This is a good whiteboard app that I can easily see using as a graphic design student. It works really well with the Apple Pencil. I use a similar app called Mural all the time for group projects. My main issue with it is that this app has no browser support. It requires both you AND EVERYONE your collaborating with to be in that walled garden. This means I most likely will only be using it for solo assignments as you do not want to leave anyone out of the mood board design process. I also prefer windows as my desktop operating system, so not being able to edit it from my main work machine or to access links makes it harder to use. It would be better if apple users where the only ones that could host a mood board, but anyone can join via a link similar to the FaceTime update. Itโ€™s a shame, because other than that one major flaw I like this app way better than Mural.

Great so far but room for improvement!

Loving the app so far, concept is great and potential use is amazing. A few points..
- Projects are not deleting after selecting delete
- An option to move sticky notes with hand writing attached to it would be great as the sticky notes move around without the hand writing so currently you have to select and move them separately.
- Also holding down with the apple pencil for shapes and straight lines would be great just how we can do it in the notes app

Great app so far and looking forward to new features and updates as it progresses
