Extremely Disappointing Experience with Cari

I recently placed an order with Cari, and it turned out to be one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a delivery service. Not only was my order delayed significantly, but when I reached out for a resolution, they refunded my money—only to charge me for a delivery I never received!

This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. To add insult to injury, there was no genuine effort to rectify the situation or offer any compensation for the inconvenience caused.

This will be the last time I order from Cari. From now on, I’ll be sticking to Deliveroo, where I’ve consistently received better service. Cari, you’ve lost a customer for good.

Avoid if you value your time and money. And if you have a restaurant on there like me, remove it.

it gets my order right every time never wrong and also it gets the order fast and yea i mean VERY fast so tysm cari!

Often late

My orders often arrive late, and when i talk to them to complain, they aren’t very helpful. They always say something along the lines of “we’re sorry your order was late, we’ll check with the restaurant/driver” and that’s it. Customer support responds quickly, but they aren't very helpful. If this had happened to me once or twice I wouldn’t mind, but it happens a lot. Bad service

Bad Experience

I’ve had a disappointing experience with this Application not once, but twice. Both times, my order arrived incorrect, even though I had clearly stated my preferences in the order notes. The first time, it took almost 2 hours to get the correct order after reporting the issue, and the second time, it took about an hour. While their response time in acknowledging the problem is quick, actually taking action to resolve it is extremely slow. On top of that, customer service mentioned that the restaurant would contact me directly, but no one has called me yet. It’s frustrating to wait so long for a resolution, especially when it keeps happening. This is making me hesitant to order through them again.

They can improve

The app is great and creative , they just don’t have enough variety, not too many restaurants to order from

Why I like Cari

I enjoy the offers and free delivery, since most restaurants add extra delivery fees to the price, which many customers dislike.

Drivers No English or Arabic

Most drivers cannot understand basic instructions on where to leave the order. Deliveroo wins with driver quality. I suggest testing the drivers with language and delivery skills and not hire them unless they pass. Ask them to place the order in a certain place like elevator and you will see. They will call you and after clear instructions will call you again 5 times because they dont understand. They usually say we are new sorry. Why hire unqualified drivers? Switching to Deliveroo until you fix this problem

Bad Customer service

Customer service is very poor; issues are not resolved promptly. When there are missing or incorrect items, they can only respond by filing a complaint without finding a solution.

Not relaible

I have placed 3 orders and after i paid, cari called me after about 10-15 minutes to tell me that my order was not available because the store is closed, and another reason was because the “cari machine” was not available at the other store.
This is a waste of time and i am not sure why this happened only when i used my cashback voucher.
I don’t trust them with offers, specially. They used to be reliable. Not anymore. Much better apps out there to use and rely on than cari.
